Yes, it's defintely better than missing out on the deals. I'll try with the free item w a debut new release and the pc+ for a day stuff as well.
Edit: 30% off is correct for the non daz originals and non pc+ stuff, right?
The PC for a day items no longer discount to $1.60 when adding debut new items to the cart; is this working as intended?
Hazel Bushes Winter and Spring -- this is supposed to be a freebie (it's the current Wed freebie on the PC+ sales page). It's not coming up as a freebie once added to cart, and is listing with a price of $8.23 in the cart instead.
Seconding, I noticed that too.
If that's how they want it to be, it's a pretty jerk move to pull it after weeks of them discounting with a new item.
I believe it's been simplified in light of the new store issues. Whatever is on the sales page now, is the intended discount amount.
today's 'platinum club for a day' items all show up at full price in my shopping cart.

Just tried to use my Nov. PC coupon on a Daz Original -- not membership or any other non-qualifying item, though my cart had those too -- and it says coupon not valid. Thought I mistyped, tried to fix it and now my cart has gone Oops! again. Not a happy chickadee right now. :-(
They always showed as $1.99 on the sales page, the discount applied in the cart.
Regretting renewing my PC+ membership even more. They really decided to pull one of the better perks at the end and use "well we can't get the 'ready for prime time' store to work right" as an excuse?
And I had what was probably at least a few hundred items purged from my Wishlist.
I've reached the point where what was once my well of empathy and sympathy is yielding only buckets of antipathy.

I had items in my cart from a couple of days ago waiting for it all to settle. Tada... I went to my cart page tab that was open on my Chromebook and clicked on the cart as it looked a bit over-simplified and it corrected itself into the familiar cart icon, and the prices of the items went down to what I expected. BUT something really weird happened, all my tabs (had about 7 open of various sites besides DAZ ones, eg Gmail, some academic sites, Met Office Weather,) and they all started flashing RED! Just the tabs! I do not have a camera turned on for this Chromebook, so I haven't a clue what that was all about. Did refreshing the cart page cause this?

That "better perk" doesn't work right now. So yes, they removed it and kept the part which works.

As soon as I look at the asset (Z Photoshoot Builder Props and Poses for Genesis 8) your store thinks I am logged out and does not allow me to log in.
Although in all other tabs I am logged in.
Got that error for another product, it went away after I refreshed the page a few times.
But not in time for us to make use of it.

I don't want to miss out on the PC+ For a Day items I have in my cart...should I purchase them now and then submit a ticket for the incorrect sales tax being applied? I'm figuring that it's applying tax to the full price rather than the discounted price...because my total should only be about $17.50.

Daz has destroyed a whole lot of the faith that I once had in them as a company over the last few months, and the past few days have eroded a lot of what was left. So you'll have to forgive me for not trusting that any catchup sale that they run will go any differently than the last one, that the "teething problems" will have been completely resolved, etc.
I'm noticing completely different pricing using different browsers, Safari does not show PC+ discounted pricing, Firefox mobile has different pricing than Firefox (sometimes much lower pricing). I've seen in a previous thread to clear cache/log out and back in, but I still see the same pricing differences across browsers. This update is really broken.
Try clearing all daz3d cookies too. Your PC status is logged in a cookie from what I read.
I have changed computers twice and moved from firefox to chrome, however, the pc item I currently have in my cart to test prices is Read em and Weep Props, for $4.99 (at a discount). That is an improvement over the full price earlier. But as a PC+ member, shouldn't the price for PC items be $1.99, plus tax?
Can't even get the pc part of the store to show up. Just get oops messages. No BYOB and no PC+ of the day.

It depends on the PC item. Those released in the last few years (since PC became PC+) have not been $1.99.

Couch potato props is in "PC+ for the day" category, that's why it's $1.99. That's not its usual price.
I manged to make an order after all, but now I haven't recieved a confirmation email, I always check it very thoroughly as shoping here has taught me so I need that email, when will I recieve it ???? And my store credit does not show how much my balance was before the purchase so I can't check that it adds up
. I think I had 60 dollars something before so I think that my 40 something new balance adds up, but I need to make sure, especially now that things are what they are with the store. How on earth does Daz think that this is acceptable? how can they treat custumers like this? if there were a similar site with the same products for sale I would stop shoping here immediately, but unfortunately I like the stuff sold here
. I expect a confirmation email and the store credit showing the amount before and after the purchase as soon as possible. I always recommend the pc+ club and shoping at Daz when asked about where I buy my stuff, but in the future I will say: awesome stuff and constant sales, everything great except for the constant bugs. Expect to be frustrated on a pretty much daily basis. During the 2-3 years I have been there are bugs almost every day, right?? I can't recomend shoping at daz without this warning in the future, or else I will have a very guilty conscience. And I expect some big compensation for this experience.
I doubt they think that it's acceptable, but they don't exactly have a choice. The store upgrade which was supposed to fix the old broken store system caused unplanned problems, and rolling back is not an option. So now they do what they can to fix everything as quickly as possible. That happens, even for much bigger companies.
As for emails, I've read in another post that they're currently all running through the mail server used for newsletters, not the usual one. Do you usually get newsletters?
