QA???? How about the recent Sea Shanty Props, where one of the props won't even load? How did that get through any kind of QA test?

Or the recent Into the Bushes product where one of the three advertised material presets is completely missing, because two of the three are identical, And one of the green bush props loads bright orange (even the trunk of the bush is bright orange). How did that get through any kind of QA test.

I'm worn out from submitting help requests about this kind of thing.

It appears the issue arose between testing and when the installer was created for the store.  Which is why it wasn't picked up.

The issues will get sorted, so I think it's good to keep some perspective - and remember that QA are human who make mistakes just like the rest of us - everyone is under increased pressure and workload.  Obviously errors should be minimised, but as I said, worst case they will rectified.

Yeah,  the other thing to remember at the moment is that it is not a questiion of calling a query across a room or walking into the next office.  Every one is spread out all over the town.

Not to mention, these folks are sheltering in place with their families, too. My husband retired a while back, and I find it twice as difficult to get anything done. And there's only one of him. Imagine having little ones running around, needing attention at the most inopportune moments.

I concur that QA seems to have lower standards since Daz acquired RDNA, yet I can't help but believe our current circumstances are making it harder for those folks to focus entirely on the job in front of them.

I choose to report problems and be patient for the fixes. (That's more than a little selfish, as it helps my blood pressure immensely!)

I think QA is a very very small team - it's not an office full of 25 people, but only a few people and when you consider how many items are submitted into the store, you can imagine their workload. There are times when I think "how on earth did they miss something like that??" but I try and remember there aren't that many of them and could possibly be under a fair bit of pressure with the amount of items they have to check.

Then perhaps they should hire more people, if the team isn't up to the workflow.

Or instead of hire, search for competent volunteer testers who will test in exchange for a free copy of the product (maybe even with extended license?).

plus fix the crappy store. just that would cut their tickets by 80%

Maybe they did a cost-benefit analysis, and figure that a few unhappy customers and the damage to their reputation are a fair trade-off for what they save on QA.

I work in a call center, doing tech support for a variety different programs and services. I made the transition to working from home, and work with my family in the home. For me it is no big deal at all. In fact, I prefer working from home, since ther is no commute. So not every tech worker is  impacted by the SIP or the work from home process. In fact, I think my productivity has increased due to the lack of commute. It could take me 17 minutes just to find parking and walk to the office, and that's after driving to work. So... I can save at an hour if not more of commute time, with staying at home. So it really depends on the person and their situation. There is absolutely nothing I have at work, that I don't have at home, and since I only interacted with coworkers over chat, and phone, it is much the same experience.

There's a fair bit of work going on behind the scenes in this regard :)

Prices are broken. The price on the product page does not show up in the cart. I have refreshed the cart page numerous times.

I am seeing 14.38 presently. Is this supposed to have any other discounts? what part of the sale is this in?

I have no idea what sale it is or is not in. I simply saw the price on the product page. That price was not shown in the cart. I emptied the cart and moved on. If it shows $14.38 instead of $31.95 for you in the cart now, maybe it has been fixed.

I see a new banner but when I click on it I'm still seeing yesterday's sales page, should I just wait?

(*Edit - Never mind, I had to keep refreshing for a while, but it finally showed up. :)*)

More misleading text in the PC+ for a day sale. It says "All items for just $1.99". I very much doubt that we get all these items for just $1.99. I imagine it is $1.99 EACH.

Edit: Oh, and now I see that a new item purchase is required to even them for $1.99 each. That isn't mentioned in this section either.

Cris, I tested the World Gardens again and the cart price now matches the product page price. Thank you for testing and reporting that it was working now. I'm not used to pricing problems 45 minutes BEFORE the store change over hour.

Wait, now I'm even more confused about PC+ for a day cartch up. Everyplace you look on the page, there are different terms. Now I see a section that says 5 for $1.99, not ALL for $1.99. Neither place says $1.99 each, which it probably really is. So can we get only 5 or can we get all?

Edit: Oh, I think I am finally catching on. There are TWO PC+ for a day sections. Some "new" and some "catch up". Terms are different for each. But I think both are $1.99 each, not for all.

Looks like the limit of 5 is referring to the "Catch-Up Items".

Yes, I finally caught on that there are TWO different PC+ for a day offerings with different terms. I think the thing that threw me was that trumpet. Didn't we already have that offerered 2 days ago?Seeing that, I assumed it was catch up category.

But wait a minute. Now I see that trumpet isn't even priced at $1.99, even though it is in that group of items.

I give up for tonight. Maybe in the morning things will make more sense or be fixed.

Because of your post, I decided to check both PC+ for a Day listings. The catch up does not show $1.99 on the page, but the items go to $1.99 in the cart with a qualifying new release. Today's PC+ for a Day, (these do not require a new release purchase,) includes a number of products that do not show $1.99 on the page, however, these also drop to $1.99 in the cart.

    I hope this helps.

  • I'm having trouble with the trumpet too.

I suspect the trumpet is part of the catch-up items and not the pc+. I've sent an inquiry.

Yes, just caught the full price ones, Have sent inquiry. I suspect they are not part of the selection.

Make sure you click on "View All Items" under the Platinum Club for a Day listing. The sales page mainly just shows older V4 products listed for me, so I was going to pass on it - I had glossed over the "View All Items" button the first time but noticed it on the second look. I'm glad I clicked on it as there are a few newer items there as well - a couple are on my wish list. So I'm glad I double-checked. :)

Are these really new releases? The Daz Deal plugin is showing them released May 18th and May 25th? (Take your cursor along the price grid chart.)  I don't recall them being released earlier.

Products can be, and usually are, included in the pricelist before they are released. Sometimes months before.

Well that's definitely misleading. Shouldn't be that way. How can they be priced at anything when they haven't been offered???? That makes that graphic useless on those products at the beginning of the chart, (later on the chart would be usable) as I am thinking it's been offered at a better price when it hasn't. Which is the PURPOSE of that graph!  It should start on the release date with the real price.

Is the list of G8s from https://www.daz3d.com/daz-original-items-to-choose-from#p=3&order=popular^1&filtered=1 supposed to be getting smaller each day? Because it is. The sale still seems to be valid and still claims over 400 items but there are products dropping off each day.
