Hello Friends,
I want to know if there are specific Head Morphs for Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 that can help us make them look like an APE. There is a product for Genesis 8, but it transforms the whole body too. I just want to morph the face. Not the whole body. Like just the face of an ape, but body of a man.. APEMAN

You might want to look at Shape Splitter. That would let you separate the head morph from G8 Gorilla, AM’s chimp, RawArt’s ApeWorld figures, etc. and use those with whatever G8 body you wanted.

Not super often as I recall, but it does. You can install the Daz Deals browser extension to see a price history, which will give you an idea of how often it goes on sale, and for how much. I got Shape Splitter for half off, but I don’t remember if that was a sale or a coupon. Also, the creator of Shape Splitter has a project or two in the works, so their store will likely go on sale whenever they’re released.

Well it does create a "whole" in your wallet. But if you are a creative person and want to create arts even as a hobby, then the "whole" is worth it.

You should be fine as long as the whole isn’t greater than the sum of the parts.
I may try to put together a little tutorial when I get home, and split the gorilla’s head off for the OP. What specifically are you trying to do with Shape Splitter, and what problems are you having?
I have a character purchased at another site ( wink, wink ) and I only want to use the body and not the head. I want to use my own head morph.
I loaded the two characters. I want the head of one character put on the body of the other character BUT one of the characters comes as one complete character only. Is there a manual on how to use the product?

Once you have enabled Daz Deals browser, if you put an item in your wishlist anc click Get Email Notifications! you will receive (at least) a daily email notifying you what items on your wishlist have gone on sale and for what price. You can also get emails notifying you of flash sales, sometimes even BEFORE the sales are active in the store.

I got distracted last night and didn’t make the tutorial, but here’s the gist: you load the base figure into the scene with no morphs and run the script on that. The script lets you determine which morph you want to alter (in your case, the full body morph), then what part of the morph you want to extract, with several levels of granularity from general region (head, torso, etc.) down to specific vertices. You preview the morph and make any necessary adjustments until it looks the way you want it to. Then, you save the new morph. When you’re done with all the morphs, you switch to another tab to save the morphs as morph assets, which will create sliders. NOW you can go about adding them to your figures to get the overall look you want.

Yeah thats what we are all discussing about. This product convers the whole body. I just needed to convert the head.
