Thanks again, Daz! It's a great and generous gesture! Cheers to you all!

@alex86fire I've been to other sites. From what I can see, they're not doing anything different. Only Daz! yes

My wishlist is always stuffed, but that's only because there are so many interesting things here. cheeky

you should copypaste this into other sites's forums. make them nervous. maybe we'll get some freebs there too XD

LoL! I'm not going to do that. I don't know their situation and I don't want to make them feel bad. angel

Yep, very generous - thank you!  A hundred bucks spent on some great stuff this weekend.

    Everyone stay safe!

  • I missed yesterday because of late-night gaming with the kids :-(  Grateful to see a chance at something today!  Thank you, Daz, should be one or two things off my wishlist...

Yep, thanks!  I have almost every Daz Original I could ever use, but it does not keep me from browsing!  I found a nice little "missing jet" scene I've never noticed, which should work for a nice Lara Croft render  :)

  • Thank you DAZ3D very much for your generosity :-)

The $100 worth of freebies were a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much, DAZ!  ^^

Why is the Historic Subway Station not working with this Plat-Perks-Sun copupon? It's not new & it's a DAZ Originals?

    https://www.daz3d.com/historic-subway-station

    How old is it? It's not all non-New DO's in the list - I think it's pre-2018 DO's

Yes, maybe that's it. It does seem as it's new in the past 2 years. I don't know for sure but I went ahead & got something else. It & one other subway station I will eventually buy. There is also a several generic train station like in Manhattan or Paris or rural Europe too.

Not entirely true. HiveWire has  a nice promotion of "Stay Home - Spread Hope' items (including the Hivewire Cat) for free.

None-the-less The DAZ coupons allow us to choose from a vast array of items and are especially appreciated. Thanks, DAZ

This looks very nice, like a scene from Lost.

It is a nice scene, I have been eyeing it too for some time.

And the jet is definitely missing from it, as the crashed aircraft is a proppeller plane.laugh

    1) See stuff I wasn't likely to get until much later (at the time I actually needed them).

    2) Get a pair of $50 coupons from DAZ

    3) Snatch that stuff up in a hurry.

    4) Get sucked in by the other sale to get steeper discounts on random stuff that might come in handy

    5) ????

    6) Wind up spending more than I really wanted to, and still not care.

    7) Make Art Button pushed.

I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything as that is not the case. Any free coupon is nice and this is totally free, no strings attached so it's great!

All that being said, it isn't really 50$.

Who would buy any of those items at only 37% discount? I we look at best prices for them or close to that, we probably get somewhere between 12$ and 20$ depending on what you get.

Of course, that is still great as it is totally free and from Daz to us but I keep seeing all these 50$ wow comments and couldn't stop myself from giving my 2 cents.

i guess that mathematically and wise-daz-shopper-technically, you're right...

but there is a big exception: when you're absolutely flat broke and can't afford **** - and not just for a few days, more like weeks...

in my case, i already saw many of those long wishlisted items in all possible % discounts for months (yeah.. rather years) again and again, usually around 69% as you mention... which didn't do anything for me especially recently since atm i have zero $ to spend (and to add to the general frustration and stuff, i'm stuck home too, for like, months. not that i'd get out much, i'm a natural pc-addicted recluse bordering on hikikomori, with a wonky health - but now i can't even go shopping 2x a month without risking to get contaminated, so...). so the weeks are an endless boring series of eventless days (the type where you don't remember what you've done yesterday cause it was just like the day before.. or the week before). and usually, when something happens it's no good, some issue or cause for unnerving like deliveries with 2-3 weeks delay or half of your ordered stuff missing from the stocks etc. and the all-present grating fear that the minuscule reserves you managed to scrape together for your 11 animal companions & yourself might not be enough if TSHTF any time soon...

and then *bam!* 2 days in a row where you get a 50$ prezzie just because. and you can finally get some long wishlisted stuff that would have waited a few months/years more. and you get something new and good happening to you in your boring day. and you can unwrap your prezzie in DIM then feel inspiration coming up again when you try out your new shiny... and maybe you just can manage to also forget the bug and the whole situation for a while.
so right now, i wouldn't say i'm on top of the world, it'd take a bit more lol, but this weekend has been a blast as far as 3d goes... at least ONE thing that was neither irrelevant nor sucked. :D

and hey, i'm the one who always complains about the biweeklies sucking... so i'm not the kind of person to go wow at any crumb thrown at me, quite the opposite ;)

I am glad you finally got some nice new items to be abkle to create some new stuff.

This really is a ncie weekend. Two days of free items is awesome, and they are not too old, I mean we have plenty of G8 to choose from if we don't want older generations.

All I was saying was it wasn't a real 50$ per day. Imagine the items not being discounted at all, but being at 100% of the price, would everyone still think 50$ of stuff?

Anyways, I am very glad for this free items, I found out some items I didn't even knew I wanted and got them so all in all a very nice weekend.

As a suggestion, for the people who got stuff, maybe they can post them here to inspire others that maybe don't know what to choose.

    I got https://www.daz3d.com/short-afro-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8https://www.daz3d.com/smooth-talker-outfit-textureshttps://www.daz3d.com/off-the-shoulder-romper-for-genesis-8-female-s and https://www.daz3d.com/off-the-shoulder-romper-textures yesterday.

    Haven't decided for today yet.

...using the list prices yesterday and today together I got 161$ worth of content for a total of 1.82$ (1.54$ yesterday and 28¢ today).  Not a bad deal, love getting a 24.95$ item for 9¢..

    Again Thank you.

yeah.. about that... lol... i sometimes wonder if my bigger hobby is using the free or paid stuff... or hoard it XDDD.
but ok, as my excuse, my laptop sucks, the lame piece of crap, and it takes an eternity just to render test scenes, when it doesn't crash/freeze. so occasionally i finish a render and it's cool... but often i leave a hecatomb of unborn scenes in my wake *shrug*
