    in my case, i already saw many of those long wishlisted items in all possible % discounts for months (yeah.. rather years) again and again, usually around 69% as you mention... which didn't do anything for me especially recently since atm i have zero $ to spend (and to add to the general frustration and stuff, i'm stuck home too, for like, months. not that i'd get out much, i'm a natural pc-addicted recluse bordering on hikikomori, with a wonky health - but now i can't even go shopping 2x a month without risking to get contaminated, so...). so the weeks are an endless boring series of eventless days (the type where you don't remember what you've done yesterday cause it was just like the day before.. or the week before). and usually, when something happens it's no good, some issue or cause for unnerving like deliveries with 2-3 weeks delay or half of your ordered stuff missing from the stocks etc. and the all-present grating fear that the minuscule reserves you managed to scrape together for your 11 animal companions & yourself might not be enough if TSHTF any time soon...

    and then *bam!* 2 days in a row where you get a 50$ prezzie just because. and you can finally get some long wishlisted stuff that would have waited a few months/years more. and you get something new and good happening to you in your boring day. and you can unwrap your prezzie in DIM then feel inspiration coming up again when you try out your new shiny... and maybe you just can manage to also forget the bug and the whole situation for a while.
    so right now, i wouldn't say i'm on top of the world, it'd take a bit more lol, but this weekend has been a blast as far as 3d goes... at least ONE thing that was neither irrelevant nor sucked. :D

    and hey, i'm the one who always complains about the biweeklies sucking... so i'm not the kind of person to go wow at any crumb thrown at me, quite the opposite ;)

     

    I am glad you finally got some nice new items to be abkle to create some new stuff.

    This really is a ncie weekend. Two days of free items is awesome, and they are not too old, I mean we have plenty of G8 to choose from if we don't want older generations. 

    All I was saying was it wasn't a real 50$ per day. Imagine the items not being discounted at all, but being at 100% of the price, would everyone still think 50$ of stuff?

    Anyways, I am very glad for this free items, I found out some items I didn't even knew I wanted and got them so all in all a very nice weekend.

    As a suggestion, for the people who got stuff, maybe they can post them here to inspire others that maybe don't know what to choose.

    How old is it? It's not all non-New DO's in the list - I think it's pre-2018 DO's

    It says Release Date: 2018-06-16 in the readme.

    @nonesuch00 the items are not all DOs that are not new. Just check their list for what is available for pick up. As Silent Winter mentioned the list itself is called Pre 2018 Daz Originals.

    Looking to canvas opinions -- will post here rather than open a whole new thread smiley : TerraDome 3 Iray is part of the weekend offerings, but at $37.77 this awesome bit of kit from the so-talented-it-could-make-your-eyes-hurt Colm Jackson and Traveler noms up quite a big portion of the $50 budget... but is it totally worth it? I'm only just getting into doing landscapes and sets using Daz but this seems like a pretty user friendly (and awesomely flexiable!) utility that - unless TerraDome 4 is known to be coming down the pipeline soon - could be worth investing in. Thoughts?

    I would like to thank DAZ for the second USD 50 coupon. I am amazed. This weekend allowed me to get USD 100 worth of items from a long list of wanted, but not considered priority items. smiley

    Amen!!!  

    And my definition of 'priority' has even changed since my rig is failing and can't *do* a lot anymore - so there were a lot more sitting in limbo!

    Thank you *GREATLY* DAZ Team (and execs)!!  This has been a very heartfelt surprise =) that means a lot to me (and apparently a lot of others!)

    mmh depends on the people. those who are easy to please def will. others who are a bit more critical probably not XD

    It's funny, I now have more things on my wishlist than I had before the coupons. What I had in my wishlist and fit the list were really old items that I really didn't think they should be added to the cart for this since they had been in previous 0.99 or 1.99 offers. So I started to check out what is G8 generation on that list and found a bunch of stuff. So after getting 9 items for free, only 1 had been in my wishlist before , but now my wishlist is like 15 items bigger :). 

    In the long run Daz will win money with me from this promotion.

    yeah, same here.. whenever there's a sale with special pages, i cross that one or other (usually older) thing from my wishlist... and add a few other new ones XDD. that's the wishlist dance, one step forward, three backwards ^^
    however... with my budget even in "normal" times, it's gonna be a very very long run XD
