Chrome on my laptop is not working correctly for me. I am thinking of reinstalling it to see if that helps.

I am looking at YouTube videos for free or open source 3D software.  One video suggested Daz Studio.  Actually in that video they recommended 5 softwares.  First one was Blender.  The second was Sculptris.  The third was Daz Studio.  The fourth was Wings3D and the fifth was sketchup (free version).  I probably would work with all but scultris but I am thinking of trying sketchup.

I only get it from one company but I probably signed up for it and forgot why.  It is some coffee supplier place or somewhere that sells coffee.

Complaint:  Hmmm..., big excitement here for a few minutes.  For some reason I heard voices outside on the driveway and took a curious peek.  It was two police officers.  Now, the only time I've had police officers visit any of my domiciles was about 6 years ago when one of the previous residents was test riding his motorcycle down the street without a license.  He got a stern talkin' to but that was all.

Today, I was curious so I opened the door and it, of course, drew their attention to me.  They asked me if <resident of the other apartment> was home.  I figured that at most it was to serve a summons or perhaps news of an accident or death of someone in their family.  I said I didn't know if he was home but to knock soundly on the back door if they wanted to get his attention.  A few minutes later I hear my neighbor through the walls yelling something and I eventually figured out that the was talking to the officer through the closed door and refusing to open it.surprise  First clue!  Then I poked my head out of my front door and looked around, there was one police car in the driveway and one parked on the road with its lights flashing.  2nd clue, then I saw two more policemen (probably from the other car).  The yelling went on for a while but didn't escalate.  Eventually the police went away and as then vacated from the back of the house there were two more policemen for a total of six, then I ventured out onto the porch and looked farther down the driveway and saw the 3rd policecar parked on the road with its red & blues flashing.  The police eventually walked away but two of them wandered over to a neighboring house and talked to the lady there. Before they returned, got in their car and all three policecars drove away.

Whatever the problem was, it wasn't serious (today) but think my neighbor in this house they were looking for was totally freaked out for some reason, or just was in the habit of not opening doors to policemen for whatever reason.  Some people are like that.  Makes you wonder why.indecision  Perhaps he was practicing social distancing!  Yeah, that's the ticket.  Social distancing.frown

Oh, and the complaint?  I'm complaining that I didn't find out why they were here. sad

Perhaps unrelated, but last night while laying in bed at about 2:30AM I heard the neighbor guy yelling at someone about something.  I just figured being cooped up with his family for two weeks was getting to him.   Sigh, too much drama, I can't stand the curiosity it raises in me.

Interesting:  The drama continues.  The police are back.  I heard my neighbor yelling again, then my brother called to ask if I was OK.  I asked why.  He said because the fire/police scanner said there was police activity near my area.  I got up and looked out the window and the police are sheltering behind their cars as they listen to my neighbor yell at them. frown  As, I started writing this report, I got an emergency phone broadcast message calling for a "shelter in place" notice for this area.  I opened the door and a policeman outside about 30 feet away told me to close my door and stay inside.  I can still hear my neighbor ranting.

The thing is, there's a place where his apartment and my apartment are separated only by glass windows.  The shades are always closed but there's no reason he couldn't decide to break through those windows and take an old man hostage. surprise  I'm debating whether to get properly dressed, and call the police number given in the "Shelter in Place" notice if I needed an emergency exit.  Arghhh... drama indecision

Non-complaint:  Back home.  Police still milling around cleaning up.  SWAT team & dogs were here too.  More excitement than this little town has seen in many decades.  I don't know the particulars and haven't been able to separate facts from rumors, but it ended with nobody hurt.   I hear people moving around in the other apartment.  Don't know if it is the wife & kids or police clumping around searching for things.  Oops, just had a knock on the door & talked to a detective.  Confirmed that they are searching the other apartment.

Whole west end of the town was blocked off (we're only 8 blocks long).  Traffic was being routed 4 miles around town.

    Crazy day.

Of all the places I've lived in my life in the last 50 years, this is the only place where I've had a cop show up at my door.  I've lived in a nasty part of Washington DC, where somebody wandered into our yard and died of a stab wound, but no cops came to the door.  We just watched the police/ambulance operation unfold out our living room window.  But here out in the country in a tiny little town where everybody's family has been here for 150 years I've had the cops at my door 6 times.  3 times just today. frown  And all looking for whatever neighbor was in the other half of the house.indecision  Go figure!

I had a dream that the reason why my store was closed was really for remodeling. Actually in the dream the whole mall was closed for remodeling in the dream.   I was on the way to see my new store's look when in the dream I lost my phone.

In reality there was another reason I have not been to work is not remodeling but cooperate decided we need to close the store for a while for other reasons.

I am watching a movie about an Anthony Stark.  He is a fictional character who seems to have the ablity to change people's minds (except for the bad guys, of course, because they do not speak the same language as he does probably)
