Complaint:  I lost my keys today.surprise  I got home from my trip to the post office and grocery store and reached in my pocket for my keys and freaked out because they were gone!!!!!!!!!  Arghhhh.sad  Luckily, I keep a spare front door key squirreled away in my wallet.  After about 15 minutes of brain racking and steeling myself to retrace my route in today's miserable cold & wind to see where my keys might have fallen, I remembered that I used my post office box key and probably left my keys dangling in the open PO Box door.frown  I called the Postmistress despite being 5 minutes after Saturday closing time and she was still there and confirmed that my keys had been found and are waiting for me to pick up on Monday.yes  Advantage of living in a small town.

Thank goodness for small victories. smiley

.  One virus and we'd have thousands of people unable to work.

I wonder if you thought about the irony of this one sentence in your post

Well, I meant to say "one computer virus" (as in, all it takes is one computer virus to get into the network and then thousands of people can't work.").  Because yeah, we're that big.

But now that you mention it...here's a bit of geek humor that's been making the rounds in the form of a meme:

    Can we Uninstall 2020?

I think it has a virus.

One virus and we have billions of people unable to work.  I fixed something about that statement.  I hate this virus thus I ban it in my home.  0.o

Again, not what I meant.  Please see my above comment.

Last time I checked I am somewhere that has two bathrooms.  There are a bunch of rooms that are considered bedrooms.  There is a living room with a tv.  A kitchen and sun room exist too.

If there was a jacuzzi it was removed long time ago, before I moved in.

I am trying to calm down so I am listening to music right now but at a too loud volume.

  • Getting ready to cook up some salmon, rice, and vegetables.  I may throw a couple of pieces of chicken into the Foodie...that way I get something else cooked along with the rice.  Thinking of snowpeas, garlic, and peppers with the fish.

But first I need to clear the kitchen sink and get the dishwasher running.  Time to put on a podcast and lose myself in some kitchen cleaning for a bit.

Yes, mid 90s.  I worked in the Greater Boston area, and needed a phone in case of a road emergency.  Late 90s, there was the possibility of limited Internet access, but it was too costly, so I didn't add that to my account.  Didn't even want texting, after I got a few wrong number texts and advertisements, and got charged for them.  I had the phone company shut off texting on my account.

I remember in the late 80s my friend who was working as a driver for a wealthy fellow, showing up one day with his "work phone" his boss gave him so he could be in touch at all times...

It was a small suitcase with a Motorola brick cell phone on top... the suitcase (about the size of two family size cereal boxes taped together) was the battery and weight probably ten pounds or thereabouts.

He was very positive it made him look rich and cool... I said it looked Stoooopid.

Somehow I STILL have yet to fully learn my lesson about saving. I had a custom figure dressed, accessorized and posed, riding a posed creature in an environment. Hit render, watch DS crash, reopen the file to see just the figure in the default pose. I hadn’t saved after all that posing and several renders, not even before rendering an environment which has a history of crashing DS on render.
