OK, I broke down and rented the movie "Ship Of Fools" that I talked about above.  It's been 55 years, I need a little morose angst and despair or at least know that others are going through it and my situation isn't really all so bad.cool  Actually, I'm quite OK with my current situation.  I'm an introvert, and regularly keep myself isolated.  Now, I'm getting a perverse sense of enjoyment out of watching extroverted people bemoaning their caged existence.  I'm so evil.indecision  See, I've told y'all before that I'm sadistic and a little squirrellydevil

I went to check to see when my office subscription needs to be renewed, to find out I had gotten Hotel Transylvania 3.  Not only that the UHD version.  I do not have any device that does anything UHD to my knowledge.  I just switched my movies anywhere connected Microsoft movies account to the correct account.    Now I can watch all three hotel Transylvania movies.

i  lost the battle at work.  they makin me work from home all next week.  i'm the only one here who doesnt have a laptop.  i never complained cause i love my hexacore desktop.  i don't have access 2016 at home.  woes

If they're insisting you work from home, they should provide you with what you need to do so.

    Dana

Yes they should, especially if they are minding the store properly and want to protect their network against viruses and vulnerabilities.  My work would NEVER allow personal devices to connect.  One virus and we'd have thousands of people unable to work.  And then the lawsuits would begin.  Everybody gets a laptop.  It's a lot cheaper than going out of business!

I'm extroverted and I don't feel at all as though I'm in a cage.  Not sure what you mean.  Oh, and I didn't catch your meaning in your response to my other thread.  It just went over my head, sorry.  smiley

Not really a complaint, just something odd: I've been posting renders of a bunch of characters from a project I'm working on, and nobody loves my ladies. Two of the four female characters have no likes, and only one has more than one. By contrast, every male I've posted has at least one like, with several receiving more. This is not what I would have expected. I wonder if it has anything to do with the lack of cleavage.

One virus and we have billions of people unable to work.  I fixed something about that statement.  I hate this virus thus I ban it in my home.  0.o

Your "eyes" at the end of your statement remind me of that thing that Colonel Bleep would do sometimes.  I hope this gif below works.

i've stepped up my whining to try and find someone to drive me to the animal shelter.
    are they afraid?
it's the perfect time ti bring home a new furry belly.

my job not telling me how long i stuck working from home.  i suspect they dont expect me to actually get work done since they didnt loan me a laptop.
if they'd sent me home with the hexacore, i could be node rendering with a total of 6 +8

the only thing that would make this situation make sense, if i brought home a buppy to keep me company.i'm home all alone, not even a hamster to sew costumes.

whining from a 56yo is not pleasant

No... You post a normal amount...  and you definitely give me something to make comments on... (ooh, like now... )...otherwise I'd just be complaining independently about nonsensical stuff that most people don't even notice.

You know, you don't have to own a hamster to make costumes for them... you can buy a hamster, take all the basic measurements, return it, then make a couple of costumes and go back to the store and when nobody is looking, slip the costumes on the hamsters in their enclosures...

It's one of those things that could change the world.

Complaint:  I lost my keys today.surprise  I got home from my trip to the post office and grocery store and reached in my pocket for my keys and freaked out because they were gone!!!!!!!!!  Arghhhh.sad  Luckily, I keep a spare front door key squirreled away in my wallet.  After about 15 minutes of brain racking and steeling myself to retrace my route in today's miserable cold & wind to see where my keys might have fallen, I remembered that I used my post office box key and probably left my keys dangling in the open PO Box door.frown  I called the Postmistress despite being 5 minutes after Saturday closing time and she was still there and confirmed that my keys had been found and are waiting for me to pick up on Monday.yes  Advantage of living in a small town.

No, maybe about my stubborn roommate who does not want to go to bed.
