Has anyone seen my tv remote?  I knew where it was this morning before lunch.  Since then I had lunch and took a walk and I do not know where it is now.

Depends on the width of the river, the direction of the wind, the rate of flow of the river, and the near local direction of the river.  One can sail in a bathtub if one lowers one's expectations.indecision

Stupid questio, how many flopy discs is needed to back up my computer?  oh wait I do not have a floppy disc drive on my computer.  Probably should rethink about backing up my entire Daz content on a floppy disc.

another question; what is the biggest usb thumb drive available to the public that does not cost too much??

Depends on the definition of "too much".  32GB units are quite common.  64GB units still reasonable.  I bought a 128GB chip a few months ago for not "too much", but I think the expense boundary is when you start looking at 256GB, and 512GB units.  At that point you might as well start thinking about small USB hard drives or SSDs.  Ask me again in 12 months.frown

We used to see sailing barges on our river when I was a kid.  It was wide enough the the only way to get to the other side was by boat,  and If you didn't have access to a boat of your own (and not many did) then to get over to the other side we used to have to get a bus or a train up river, thenwalk through the town to the riverside and the ferry acroos the Thames, (doesn't have quite the same ring as the Ferry across the Mersey)

Here is a Thames Barge   As you can see they can sail up right into London proper,  that is Tower bridge in the background

And if you want to see them sailing

If you've ever waited on line in the old Worth street DMV in lower Manhattan... you know hell... especially in the summer.

There aren't many waterfalls on the River Thames,  nor the Medway.  The Thames used to be a working river,  with ships going up to the docks  and into central London,

I forgot about Gorgo... I mean really, who could forget about Gorgo... dear sweet Gorgo and her maternal instincts... she didn't like British architecture, but she was a good mum...
