Why would iRay preview render be popping up when I have the viewport on texture view?

Hi all! 

Why would the iray render processing box pop up when I am just working with the texture mode (and not even looking at anything textured in the viewport)?

 

Thoughts?

    Note that you have the spot render tool selected. Does this happen if you switch to a different tool?

    Have you verified that there isn't an iRay render running in a window behind the main window (or a minimized window)?

    If your render mode (Render Settings) is Iray, it doesn't matter what settings your preview (Draw Settings) is set to when you render.  They're two separate settings.
