HELP! Can't ReOpen DAZ Studio Scenes - Greyed Out

I'm using the newest version of Studio.  I start a new scene, put some lights and content in it, and SAVE it.  The I close Studio.  When I open Studio, I try to reopen the scene I saved, and it won't reopen.  The icon appears greyed out.  It doesn't matter where I save the scene to, whether it is the SCENE folder, or on my destop, or in a folder - it's greyed out and won't open.  I try commands, OPEN, and OPEN WITH, and it doesn't work.  The ONLY way I seem to be able to open a scene is if it appears on the OPEN RECENT list which appears on the drop-down menu under FILE in the Studio menu bar.

    Catalina? If so, try using the DS Public Build which has a fix for the file dialogue issue https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta

    I prefer to avoid beta versions of any software. How long will it take to get the fix in the Release version?!

    Ron - I'm afraid this is a "how high is up" type of question - the few people at DAZ who know aren't talking and anything the rest of us come up with is an outright guess.

    I mostly use beta versions; I just find a version I'm happy with, although I have a couple of alternatives too.

    If a release version doesn't do what want, or does what you don't want, then obviously (to me at least), use the one that works best.

    Installing the beta won't affect the general release, so you can always switch back and forth where needed.
