Hey does anyone know if DS 4.12 messed up d-force? I was told that is had and since I used it almost exclusively right now I am a bit afraid to install it.

I used some dforce clothes when I was working on a scene yesterday in 4.12, and it didn't seem to be any problem. Granted that was only a pair of pants so nothing much
I've run several simulations without issue, over the current version and some of the previous betas.
I've been fiddling around with dforce in 4.12 pretty much since it came out, and I haven't run into any issues at all.
I have been having issues with wind nodes, but I can't confirm that's specifically a 4.12 problem, as I've only thus tried to use them in one particular scene, and the clothing in question isn't specifically dForce (although I have made some alterations to it).
I actually have a render going right now that uses a wind node. Only issue I had with that one was that I had it set too high and it was like a hurricane lol
Yes i have problems since i have 4.12. I tried it with a lot of different products but every time the same. The clothing is falling through the object or charakters. I tried the settings with gravity and more but nothing helped.
Only dforce hair and hair with dforce is working fine.
I dont know what the problem is but i think collision with other objects dont work correctly.
Absolutely no issues here.
@kayto93_073094d40c I guess you've checked to make sure the figures/objects are set to be visible in the simulation?
Yes and i tried it now with both versions same, scene all settings the same and on 4.12 is the problem but on 4.11 its works fine.
(4.11 on disk D: and 4.12 on disk C:)
I only use beta, and am not noticing any
yes i found the problem. On 4.12 i had to show hidden propperties in the surface tab. The collision offset was on 0 and on 4.11 i think 0.2. I think this solved my problem if not i will use 4.11 and will change in the future to 4.13.
oh and collision offset isnt normaly not hidden. Dont know why it was
no issues here either, works in 4.12 much the same as it did in 4.11
