https://www.daz3d.com/bludgeon-weapons This is close, it doesn't have spikes, but is similar. I thought for sure I'd seen a spiked club somewhere.... I'll look somemore.
I'll attach it .rather than copy/paste it. (can also be octagonal)
That's a tetsubo. There's also a longer version called a kanabo and an older version called an ararebo. There' are a couple on Turbo Squid, but they're crazy expensive.
you could always try to make a club of your choice. Age of Armour has a great kit called "stage hand" for just that type of scene. you can custom build OR move walls and props change the colors to anything you like and it 50% off right now
That's perfect! Did you make that just for this? I'll try to remember to show ya'll my render when it's finished.
I seem to recall Tetsubo being the traditional weapon of Oni...
As a matter of fact, I am creating an Oni character and scene for a book cover, but she looks nothing like that guy, lol. It's for an erotica fantasy novel.
I have one of those as a Poser prop freebie, but I can't remember now where I got it. Might have been renderosity.
I found the original installer, it's by TheAestheticDemon (not sure if he's an active content creator any more) and... hmm, the tetsubo isn't in his archives on ShareCG or DeviantArt. Maybe I got it somewhere else.

I sorta did, I got frustrated cause I couldn't find the one I'd thought for sure I'd seen somewhere, so i just made it. I'm glad it works out for you and I hope the book cover turns out great.
Just another reason why it would be really nice to have an itemized library of everything that's in the ##@@* store... I have that set and totally forgot about it, although the photo shown did have spikes rather than the studs in the DAZ version.
Great job, zombietaggerung - It looks fit for Oni, or Samurai alike.

Maybe the one from Dodger back in the Poser4 days - It was one of the first ones I ever came across in his Asain Polearms set when I was creating my own.
I also have the one listed by SixDs - I did not remember I had that set. Thanks for adding it and the reminder, SixDs.
I'd like to add some wrapping and a dangly, posable ribbon hanging from the loop (leftover ribbon from the wrapping). What's the fastest way ya'll can think of to do that?

This may work

Was there supposed to be an image there?
Yeah, image is broked here too
I'll attach it .rather than copy/paste it. (can also be octagonal)
find it amusing that without the image the next poster assumed a nightclub
I of course assumed the type Chohole wields as couldn's see how a room could be anything but flat sided

Dang. I didn't even know I needed one of these until now. :) Awesome work.

Wow, this is an amazing weapon!! Thank you so much. I def wouldn't want to be the ball on the end of that bat.

The generous zombietaggerung has addressed the issue, but there actually is one in the store as part of:
https://www.daz3d.com/maces-and-cudgels
I KNEW i'D SEEN ONE SOMEWHERE!
I bought that, too, lol (I have waaay too much stuff) ... but for this story, the spikes work better, anyway :)

I'm doing something wrong but can't figure out what ...
hmmmm, I'll check the zip. Hang on.
Sorry about that. Try redownloading it.
Clean install by deleting [data -- GMS Props -- Tetsubo], [Props -- GMS Props -- Tetsubo], and [Runtime -- Textures -- GMS Props -- Tetsubo]
Then reinstall it.
that's a really nice tetsubo, zombietaggerung
thanks. i reckon you've just made a lot of 3D oni really happy. me, too.
:)

Glad to help, and sorry again for the error in the zip. It's all good now.
I downloaded today, so, I should have a good file, correct?
May I say how much I appreciate this? I do renders for authors with very broad interests.
Yes, it's working now.
