Yellow Pen: Thanks and what a cute kittie, not uncanny at all (as long as it sleeps, I guess).

Horo: Thanks. You made a lot of work of your entry. Wonderful effect!

adbc: Thanks. Very gloomy render. Wonderful depiction of the title.

    Hansmar - thank you.

adbc - thank you. Well, I can't say you made a beautiful scene but it is certainly very well done, the sky with the low clouds was well chosen.

  • @ Hansmar: great light and the idea with the worm (?) In the background is fantastic.

@ Yellow Pen: The black cat does not seem to be in a good mood. With these teeth, I prefer not to come too close ....

@ Horo: Bolting - fast-paced image. Very good effect.

@ adbc: oppressive and really scary scene.Good work.

S Ray: Nice work. Personally, I would have chosen to put the 'flying figure' more in the (back-light), e.g. by putting it at a highre level than the mountains in the background. You could also consider adding additional light only affecting the flying figure. But it is, of course, the choice of the artist and perhaps you like it best this way.

S Ray : Dark and spooky, well done.

S Ray - very nicely done scene.

  • Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Eugenius - Incarnation is beautifully done and Castlewood very sinister. Both are excellent renders.

    Eugenius Maximus

We may need to remove your first  entry as it displays nudity,  is ther any way you can easily change the figure to be clothed or draped with a cloth or something? As per this post

    Acceptable Ways of Handling Nudity

  • Oops! I knew I was forgetting something but I couldn't put my finger on it (no pun intended). I should be able to remedy this in a short amount of time. Sorry about that :-/

  • S Ray: well done - the Moon (or is it a planet?) looks great.

Eugenius Maximus: well done... and I think it's no problem to give your lady something to dress.

  • @ S Ray: I agree with Hansmar. The figure a little more backlit would improve the otherwise consistent picture.

@ Eugenius Maximus: Incarnation is well done. The light and the mood are outstanding.
Castlewood is in the mood for a vampire movie. Very well.

Eugenius Maximus: Incarnation is a great render. There is a story there and wonderful play of light. But indeed, with some clothes it will fit the rules. Castlewood is very 'moody'. But I am missing something, some surprise or something special to break the (for me) too perfectly composed mood. But, please do whatever you find best, it is just my feeling.

Wow truly awesome, beautiful uncanny work by everyone,

  • Horo, drachenlords - Thanks! Currently re-working Incarnation;

Yellow Pen -  We went shopping this afternoon, so hopefully she'll look more presentable on the next render.

Hansmar - Thanks for your valuable input; I'll see if I can make some changes before the deadline :-/

  • Okay, I thought about it. Please ignore my first post. THIS is my first entry:

    Come and play with me

Drachenlords - Come and Play with Me -  The atmosphere's eerieness is uncanny enough; she's just dead scary.

  • Drachenlords - Last Ticket: I would go, but I have a cold (cough, cough). Awesome render.

Dan - Mr. Happy's Jack O' Lantern: Really cool and creepy render. Great character.

Yellow Pen - Out of Hell: A hot-tempered that one is. Awesome environment.

Hansmar - Mirror Mirror: A really well-done scene and the mirror effect and characters are brilliant.

Diomede - Fun scene and great render.

Horo - Floorscrasher - Superb scene and excellent lighting.

adbc - Spooky Night - Fantastic lighting and crazy looking cat lady :-)

  • Thank you, eugenius Maximus
