    Just a note to anyone purchasing Filter Forge 8 PRO ... if you buy it here with your BYOFG coupon you still are eligible for the free upgrade to FF9PRO as per the rsponse to my email to Filter Forge support 

    If you buy (or have bought) Filter Forge 8 through DAZ3D between September 30 and November 18, you are eligible to a free upgrade to version 9. Orders outside this time period are not eligible.

    ...so looked at the page for  the BYO FastGrab sale and all I see are just the new releases and a few artist stores at 50%, no BYO FG category list like the previous one had..

    There is no special catagory. On the page it says the only qulifications are:

    Only 3 select Items in cart for discount to apply.
    Usable once per customer. Can not be used on previously purchased Items.
    Discount excludes New Releases, PC+ Items, Gift Cards & Memberships.

    Warning - one of things that it does is show you how much you've spent on DAZ products since you started buying.... ouch... although, to take the sting out a bit, it also shows you how much you've "saved" off the list price.  .

    If you don't want to see that astronomical number, you can go to the Daz Deals options first and make sure that option is NOT enabled! (It's the first one in the left column.)

    Once the plugin is installed, you can access the options from the same drop-down menu on the upper right that you use to log into the Daz3d website. It's right below the Messages menu item.

    I have no intentions of having apoplexy, so I keep that option disabled. YMMV

    ...hmm and here I thought it was because I already had everything like with the Holee Molee sale 79¢ sale.  Really, I saw the "purchased" Icon on pretty much everything showing on the scrolling banner.  When I clicked on the "See All" button, only two items that appeared on the page.

    If you hover over any artist's image link, you see the url includes a filter for that artist. And if you hover over the Daz Deals link, you'll see the same url with the filters stripped off. At least, that's what I'm seeing. (And what I was seeing 9-10 hours ago when I first looked.) If you're not seeing the same base url, it may be time to update your Daz Deals plugin!

    However, For the past several months, instead of listing each Featured Artist's entire catalog, Daz has been listing "select" items from those artists, limiting the number of products that qualify for the discount. I suspect the limitation on products has a lot to do with preventing stacking discounts when an artist has new releases in multiple promotions at the same time. For example, Marcius has only one item listed, in the BYOFG Premier Artist Items, but all the rest of their not-new items are featured in the Holy-Moly promotion.

     

    Yeah, even if it is a bug, the fact that you have the words 50% OFF* FEATURED ARTIST ITEMS followed IMMEDIATELY by a link that says "View These Artists Together" and then have that group link not match the individual artist item links directly below is something that clearly should not be happening under any circumstances.        

    Daz decides every day how they link the featured artists. This can change from day to day. We can only see if there's a trend, and if there is, alter the way we create the combined link. However, this can only happen after Daz decides to implement a change, there's enough time to see if it was a one-time thing, or something they keep doing, then implement that change, and let the browser stores push out an update. With Daz changing the way they link the artists, there will always be a delay of several days or more when they do a major format change.

    The thing is, @Ati, the url was correct. I got the same page with the DD link as I did with any of the artist's links. The only difference was the DD link had removed the filters. I'm not sure why others were getting two different base urls.

    Yesterday, it was correct for me, too. In fact, I haven't seen it be wrong lately. In any case, what I wrote can happen, since we only work with what's on the sales page, and that can change to a format we're not prepared for.

    Buy any New Release to get 60% OFF* Select Daz Originals and Featured Artist Catalogs

     

    Buy 2 or more New Releases and a Select Daz Original to get 68% OFF* Select Daz Originals and Featured Artist Catalogs & an EXTRA 20% OFF* those New Releases

    I tried different new items - from today's offer and others - and different items from the different featured artists cataloges and neither the 60% nor the 68% off option for the featured artists catalog items did work.

    I guess I got lucky (for once) and the discounts worked for me, with two of todays new releases and two items from the "select" list.

    And one of the new items was https://www.daz3d.com/pw-area-51-s4-base which is a huge set (broken down into manageable sections), which provides a multitude of Sci Fi and/or military scenes to chose from.

    Hi, yes the discounts on the new releases and select items are fine it is the Featured Artists that are not working.

    Agree about https://www.daz3d.com/pw-area-51-s4-base, it's in the cart waiting to go :)
