Oh, and one that's cropped up for me lately - plain business shirts where the sleeves can be rolled up the forearms.  Such a classic look, yet I haven't seen it.

One of the things I am missing the most are products like Retro Outfit for V4, A4, Stephanie & Elite and Retro Headscarf and Hair for V4/A4. You can see these two products in this promo: https://www.daz3d.com/best-friend

These products were sold at RDNA and then at Daz 3d and now can only be found in exchange websites which I don't want to use, but I believe it's a shame these products cannot be bought anymore. Maybe someone would make a new version of these for Genesis 8.

I feel we have a good range of everyday clothing for G3 and G8 male now. What I feel is still missing are good winter everyday clothing that have some thickness. I purchased the cool casual set yesterday and while the set is generally well made, it is paper thin. Does not look so well in close ups. And I do a lot of close ups. Yeah there are several workarounds ... I would prefer if we don't have to tweak and adjust ourselves. I bought another set this week and it had some thickness on the edges - a welcome surprise!

There are some very good examples of make clothing posted in this thread that I would instabuy if they had some thickness at the edges and were modelled well. With thick coats and outerwear it doesn't even matter whether it's dforce or not. I would love to see a thick winter wool coat.

Some Male content sold well in the last weeks if the store bestseller list is an indication. I think this is great.

I've been looking for vintage arctic clothing  for a long time. Something similar to the clothing in these promos:https://www.daz3d.com/antarctica-expedition-the-encampment-sled-and-poses

Me, too. I was recenly looking for an old-style fur-lined parka for a V4 figure and couldn't find anything I could use. I kept finding fancy dress outfits, but nothing that looked like it was part of an expedition.

I have really been wanting some authentic bib overalls with a yoke back. Now, before you start sending me links, please check out the attached photo.

I have yet to find any overalls that have the proper side closure (as someone who used to wear them for work when I was a teen/early 20s, I cannot imagine how you would get in and out of them without the 3-button side closures). And most have silly "suspender-style" straps on the back rather than the classic high yoke style that pretty much goes up to the top of your shoulder blades.

...good suggestion there. That is the more common design.

I would request a couple other items but everything would be for G8 now.

It's almost end of 9102 yet still no decent military dress uniform for G8M.  Where's that dress blue?

    Judges robes.

Uniforms (Fire fighter for example, mail carrier, doctor even, maid, maintenance worker, construction workers...granted some of these exist.).

More suits (though I've recently found a couple options) for men.

I don't mind a smutty version of whatever but it'd be nice if that same thing had a morph for SFW options that don't look like a crumpled mess. I'm looking at you Work Day shirt. You vex me.

Layered clothing so that i can have a tshirt under a normal shirt without fighting poke through forever.

Shredded clothes like a zombie might choose from Zombie Gap.

Clothes for the 80's, 70's, 60's, 50's etc. for period renders.

  • Late 80s/early 90s glow and/or neon clothes (any combination of glow-in-the-dark and dayglo, maybe some Miami-style pastel too, with patterns inspired by the Memphis-Milano Design Group). I saw some decent fluorescent shaders in a book or whitepaper somewhere, those would be fun especially with t-shirts and tracksuits from the era. Also (American and international) fast food uniforms, and aprons (as seen in convenience stores in Japan, as my only point of reference so far). I'd love to see a companion to SickleYield's jock straps that covers Ginch Gonch, Andrew Christian, etc. modern male underwear (and Uniqlo for something a bit more classic). I'd love more genderbent stuff for the males that isn't plagued by cracked and torn crotch triangles. I have the Eveningwear dress and am about to get the holiday dress (elsewhere), but I still use Genesis 1 a lot for that ability (and because I'm not after HD detail in my characters). I'd love to see some more early Cyndi Lauper and Madonna style stuff (for all characters).

  • In case any PAs are paying attention, I'll say a) military uniforms (current era, men's & women's), b) good mens' suits that look realistic c) dForce ties (could it really be that hard??) d) police/firefighter outfits (men's and women's) - yes there are some older ones, but how about G8 native w/ updated textures?, e) flight suits + helmets for some of Polish's work (if nothing else!), f) backpacks, casual book backpacks- like 90% of students carry these days, hiking/camping, and military 3-day + full "ruck" backpacks, g) plate carriers & body armor of various forms, modern, not sci-fi, h) parachutes, sport and military.

  • What clothes am I sorely missing?

Stuff that autofits since I changed shape after a hernia operation. But that's enough about my clothes. ;)  To be honest, the thing I find most lacking in my DS wardrobe is socks & shoes. But it's down to parsimony rather than unavailability. blush

Fur coats, fur jackets, fur boas, fur hats. So uhmm furry stuff.

  • As others have said, I would like to see some really good, historically accurate Victorian clothing for women and men that works well in dforce, bonus points if we can have plainer clothing as well as fancy stuff. A second choice for me would be a really good female pirate or seafaring outfit, not sexy (there are a lot of those), but again highly-detailed and realistic. On that one texture sets could easily make it more steampunk, more military, etc., as needed.

    This.

  • Some plain medieval clothing would be fine as well. I know that there is some available her, but I already got most of them.

  • I was surprised to find that absolutley zero modern military uniform are avaialble for Daz.

Prop dickeys & shirt cuffs, morphable tie knot props sans neck wraparounds, separate open & closed jacket meshes with pointed shoulders morph.

  • @xyer LOL! Your suggestions are good, too!
@doorknob22 - Yes me too! The fantasy and sci-fi markets are moderately well-served in comparison to modern military gear, which is zero for G8 and barely anything for G3 even.
