Edit: I re-checked. The items from the bundle are there, but not the bundle itself.
That seems about right. I'm absolutely certain I saw Bridget, Mrs Chow, Mr Woo, Tika, Sanjay, Kala, Elios and Elithia, which are all the most recent "non-new" bundles.
I deliberately picked the free starter quite quickly, rather than worrying too much if I'd picked the absolutely perfect one, as I did wonder if the list was about to get shorter later on.

I was overjoyed when I saw the newer G8 Starter Bundles listed but had to rush to work ????♂️ I’m in the rare situation where I passed on two recent Pro Bundles but have the Pro Bundle for virtually every other character, old and new. So now it looks like I’ll be getting the Animal Starter Bundle for the pigs and sheep ????.

But it is interesting to note items will be changing on Wednesdays, not Mondays. And it appears there will be new items every week going forward, instead of every other week.
So far it is just the same stuff we've had over and over. I think "new" is to be taken with a grain of salt.

The sales should not stack, so I would suggest separate transactions if that gives you the expected results.

That is a pretty nice gift card sale (20% off is decent even without several free items), but I do have to concede that the people lamenting the skew towards female content on the store might have a bit of a point when of the G2 or newer items there's 6 items for males (not even enough to make up the 7 items in the offer, even if you don't already have any of them) and 54 for females.
EDIT: It occurs that there are even male equivalents for some of the female items that are not included - Exo Suit for G3F is included, Exo Suit for G3M is not, and even as someone who primarily renders females, I have to concede that the less-skimpy male version would probably be more useful to me.
Actually, I discover that (whether intentional or not), the gift card offer stacks with the 20% basket discount for picking up two items from the Meet Your Ambassador sale, for a theoretical 36% off a gift card (minus the cost of the Ambassador items), which is a very rare offer, even without getting some free items with the gift card.
Oof. I already picked up my gift card this morning. I wish I had waited, I could have got way more with that.
Yeah, and it's still working which is surprising, since it's been pointed out. So I'm not sure it's a "rare offer," I think it's just a glitch they couldn't fix.
I think it's not a glitch read this and the previous topic (over 150+ page to read both) it's happening but rarely. Most commonly to those who have bought many pro bundles and get banners, with 10-20% off, usually, it's sale +banner, not sale + sale.
ps: probably they are doing it because people will spend money now to build up the store credit for PA sale, so it's pretty intended. DAZ wants us to buy things and if you have already store credit you are more willing to spend it than spend money from your bank account and think it over every time. If someone would check the literature for it probably there are experiments about this type of customer behavior.
ps2: buy now because till the next new big sale period there won't be such a good sale on a gift card, but who knows just DAZ. :)
Nah, I think they know what's going on. Most people aren't going to notice the discount stacking, but for the few bargain basement Daz shoppers that notice such things and that purchase gift cards for the associated 'extra discount' on everything bought with said gift card balance, well it makes the Bargain Hunters happy.
Also, a few days ago, this very same discount stacked with the 27% off Gift Card sale, which resulted in a 42% discount. Diego 8 ended up tapping into my Gift Card balance after that sale though, so I needed to recharge my balance again, in anticpation of future sales.
The Daz sales team DO have the option to exclude gift cards from sales, at least I've seen that language in a few past sales. Unless they did something to break that functionality recently.
But back on point, if you shop here regularly, you really SHOULD take advantage of Gift Card sales, particularly the ones with hefty discounts. Sure, you need to bank the money in advance in anticipation of future sales, but in the long run it'll stretch your Daz Dollars that much further!
And watch for those stacking discounts! They used to be a bit more common, but for about the last year or so Daz has been really careful about not overlapping discounts, hence there hasn't been a lot of stacking. Except for the last couple of weeks, it's been refreshing to see stacking discounts agian. Enjoy them while they last!
The buy-ins for said sales are also factors of course, and may make the gift card sale much less attractive if you don't want any of the prereq items in the sale, and that's a fair point. Just gotta watch for the 'right' sale for you!
Hey, guys! As most of you may have seen, the PA sale starts tonight. We all know that this can be exciting, but at times confusing and we'll likely see glitches. Please help us help you.
If you encounter a problem, PLEASE post a screenshot of your cart. State what, if any, coupon code you're using, if we can't see it in your screenshot. Please read all the text instructions regarding the discounts, how they apply and to what they apply. Many times we see that if it states ONLY 3 items, you may have more items than that in the cart or if there is a specific group of items from which to choose, an item is added that was not in the grouping. The more clear you are in your explanation, the better chances we are of clearing it up quicker.
Please understand there may be times when these things cannot be cleared up until Daz is back in their offices (if it takes place after hours). Depending on the problem, we may point you to submitting a ticket. If you have laid everything out in the thread, you should be able to screenshot it for the ticket.

Dang, that is a heck of a deal. Hmmmm, nope have to pass. I have spent about 2K on VR this past month and since I am obsessed with VR at the momet, I have little interest in rendering. Now if DS had VR capabilities, that would be another story, LOL
I am interested in seeing what new items the PA sale has to offer.
So I've heard a lot about this sale, but not a lot of details. Is there a pattern to this sale? Is everything on sale, or does it go in batches? Is it by vendor? Is it new stuff or catalogue?
Well, after promoting gift card sales so heavily, going forward I hope DAZ will count any purchases using store credit in calculating any rewards.
Daz does four event sales each year; three of which come at the end of the year, beginning with the PA Festival. One thing you can (usually) count on with this sale is at some point, catalogs of inactive or semi-active vendors will go on sale. Event sales usually have two, sometimes three, "catchup" sales with event discounts on products that were released during the sale. However, there (usually) won't be any special offers during catchups.
Another feature of event sales that I expect we'll see here is the Debut New Releases and Still New Releases format. New releases will always get a 30% discount for the first two weeks following release. During event sales, the higher discount, (this sale that means 40% for one, or 50% for two or more,) is only good as long as the items are on the promo page, typically three days; one day as Debut, and two days as Still New. The exception is, as previously mentioned, during the catchup sales, when (usually,) everything gets the event discount again.
Daz likes to also do some things different every year. So there is always an "X" factor, aspects of the sale that are a surprise. Today that "X" factor is the JWolf product and the coupon to get a second JWolf product for free with purchase of the featured product using the coupon. Based on previous sales, though, I doubt that we'll see a similar offer every day. I expect the daily promotional deals will be quite varied.

I've tried using the THANKS-JW code forvtodays sale but it tells me it's invalid. Anyone else had this issue?
I've tried it with a couple of different items. Is only one free one, so try a cart with the new JW and the qualifying other one. Make sure you use the regular trouble shooters: relog, hard refresh, clear cache, try a different browser.
The Thanks-JW code doesn't work if you include one of the free HD Addons.
I highly recommend trying just the two JW items: new and qualifying.
