I ignored it for just this reasoon. Knapsack puzzle sales are frustrating. If DAZ wants to make giving them money work, that is their choice. I am not going to bother.
I can't believe we don't have an answer yet to the JW coupon...we usually do not have to wait that long for an answer for a question that was posed before the DAZ workday.
Well, the THANKS-JW coupon is STILL not working when there is also a free HD addon in the cart. So, it looks like our answer is simply that it is not going to be fixed.

Personally I'd rather see no sales at all, and fixed reasonable prices instead. Sales used to be a way to get rid of inventory that didn't sell well, during a short period once or twice a year. That made sense.
I'm afraid that the coupon is intended to work only with the two items in the cart, a note is being added to the promo page to reflect this.
That doesn't make sense financially, though. If I only take myself as an example, I know for a fact that if the prices were lower, at say 40% of what they are now, and I could buy whatever I needed, whenever I needed, then I would not have bought half of the stuff I have. Not even a third. Sales make me buy them "now" because who knows when they'll be at this low price again. With a fixed price, I'll buy them when I'll need them. So these sales are great for Daz when the customer is a hobbyist. They buy way more stuff than what they would otherwise. So the hobbyists spend more money. And it's great for Daz when the customer is a professional who needs the items now. They are willing to pay the bigger, full price when they need the items. So the professionals spend more money, too.

Hi, so there was a sale, The Artist Festival is Beginning - buy a gift card at different percentages off and then get a certain number of the following things free. When I did that and had everything in the cart...there were no discounts. I looked at the sale banner again and it said starting tomorrow so I figured I'd try again tomorrow. Now poof, any mention of it seems to be gone.
I'm saving about $150 so my wife will be happy - but how did I miss it?
i dont have a problem with it..reduced my cart by 1 and took the discount on those items, one new to get the HD and one from my wishlist.....20% off... ended updiscounting 2 items instead of 3 ..saved some cash
then found out the HD free is not a one time deal, so got another by getting naother new release ...
That sale was yesterday, it was the pre PA sale sale.It gave you a chance to buy discounted GCs to spend in the PA Sale, which actually started today.

Thanks for the response, but it doesn't really matter what was "intended". What matters is how it was advertised. Cart dumped, customer irked.
Yes, cart dumped here too. Daz should realize that when they piss off customers, they lose money...
It's going to be a very long four to six weeks if we have to guess what is "intended" rather than what is written. I hope DAZ marketing will be a lot clearer as to the terms of the promotions.
The THANKS-JW coupon ad clearly says that only 2 items can be in the cart for the discount to apply. It seems you need a different item to get the HD product free, so you can't use the JW discount to get the HD item for free too
That text wasn't there earlier and was just recently added.
Daz changed the text of the JW ad later in the day. The part about "2 items" was added. The ad didn't have that exclusion before. That is why so many people had complaints about the coupon not working.

How long does this sales event usually last?
I expect it will go for six weeks. Maybe seven. But I think six is typical.
The anniversary of the PC is October, so the PC+ Anniversary sale will start sometime in October.
Nominally it lasts through September; but in the last few years it has lasted into the middle of October. However, the individual sales offers keep changing every day or few days.

I'm still working through this. The one with the jockey and major cache seems to be correct in my cart. They both start with 68% and an additional 20% took the items to 6.86. Final discount is 73%. My understanding was the expected max discount was about 72%. Do your prices show a different start discount to mine?

sale so shouldn't there be an 45% off? And there is no note about buy two to get an extra 20% off. If I check the top line there is no note about two items.
The two sales are clearly separated with a white line, while in the "Additional Artist Catalog Savings" have green line separating the groups.
ps: I know it's much a smaller thing than the other one was, and was just testing it so people could/might buy the older stuff too.

Of the available items, I liked the dForce JW Clothes Pack for Genesis 8 Female(s). But, I didn't have much interest in the older JW items on offer that I didn't have yet. However, I wanted to buy something mostly because of the free HD morphs. Especially Alexandra's has been leading my wishlist for a while (due to her ribcage being so detailed, that's rather uncommon). That made the 4 items coupon the only useful coupon, even if it would effectively be a 3-items coupon due to it having no effect on the HD morphs. Still, better than nothing, so I just added 2 items from the Gen3 selection that were on my wishlist. Taking a gamble that I won't see any better use for that coupon, or that we'll see more coupons.
Xellosz, I'm sending in an inquiry as I only get the additional discount when I have more than one. I didn't realize your questions hadn't been addressed.
