    A bit off topic, but does anyone remember the bonzai kitten website from about 20 years ago where you could "cultivate" your very own square kitten? (it was a hoax but a good one)

    I bought my cats a pretty little basket to keep their toys in.   Toys are still all over the floor, one cat is asleep in the basket.

    I don't believe any computer can simulate the complexities of feline physics. It breaks formula's, defies natural law, NASA has postponed research till after they finish Quantum Physics. Even attempting a realistic Cat 8 is madness.

    Current theory suggests that cats are actually liquids, so perhaps we should be looking at a FluidOS extension, rather than dForce?

    If there is to be a new fleabag cat it would be really nice if there were realistic breed shapes. I have recently (well, last 9 years) been converted to Maine Coons. Real character cats, and it'd be nice to create something similar to their magnificence.

    My avatar cat, Albert, was virtually impossible to model with the Poser Cat, because his stomach was so out of proportion. I've given up with the Millennium Cat as it just can't cope with his shape.

    ...two other shapes that were missing, a true Manx.  and Norwegian Forest Cat.

    I've lived with both Manx and Maine Coons. Both very lovable breeds.

    Yeah, our "Fluffy", an all black NFC would be great to commemorate in DS. We had to have him put to sleep just before Easter as a result of incurable heart disease. He was just days from the end anyway, and was suffering so much we could not get a single purr from him, usually you only had to look at him to set him off.

    I know I've heard of it. Apparently a lot of animal welfare advocates thought it was real, and were outraged. There was also the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus, which was in danger of extinction.

    I'd love to see a Maine Coon, too.  I'm pretty sure my cat has some Maine Coon in her.  Although not as large as some of that breed, she's larger than other cats I've had and she has quite the personality, talks a lot, is very loving and purrs all the time.  We took her in when she was abandoned by neighbors when they moved. (She's not the cat in my picture)

    Cats don't excite me.  I don't watch cute cat videos.  I don't get it when people swoon.  Maybe it's because I know they would eat us all in our sleep if only we could fit in their mouths.  Or mabye it's because I believe cats should be outdoor animals that are kept just hungry enough to hunt rodents. 

    But they should be represented in my runtime.  Heh, if for nothing else but to terrorize all DAZ figures past and present.  I could get into THAT.  cheeky

    But seriously, all of them should be represented, with sliders and buttons for every range within historical forms and for ranges outside of those.

    If there was a competent Cat X created, then I guarantee that dear Victoria would only own one just to sic on Barbie and Barbie's lame boyfriend.  Good kitty, good kitty!  devil

    But really, why don't we have an "animal maker" tool?  How hard can this be?  Every individual animal figure that comes out (and rarely as they do) just feels like nickel-and-diming.

    You know...let me choose.  2 legs. Or 4 legs + bat wings.  6 legs with two pairs of forelegs and lung intake along the shoulders (sound familiar?).  8 legs with 3 pairs of hind legs.  2 legs with a lizard head and bird wings.  4 legs with 2 heads, a double-spine with user-specified number of vertabrae, and ending in a double prehensile tail.  With scales, or with fur.  Or feathers.  Fur on top of head, spines along the back, and feathers on the wings.  Scales on belly, leathery skin on back. 

    Whatever I can imagine, I should be able to create.  Then we don't have to whine for Cat 8.  We can make our own cats.  Or Cat-deer.  Or turtle-ducks.  Or rabbaroos.  Or polarbear dogs!  Bonus if anybody gets my references.
