Lihua is counting as a new release for the newly mad discount, but not against the bundles. Previously the bonus item always counted as a newly mad item, didn't it?

That is to say, Daz's tool in getting the most from March Madness is crazy prices and complete unpredict....

i don't remember.. when WAS actually the last gift card sale? i hitched the first 1-2 from MM, but then i was broke so i didn't pay attention...
The coupons can be used a day before the month. So they should already be usable on the 31st, even if that's the final day of the sale.
The Related Madness items say "40% OFF Related Madness Items Buy 2 or more to get them at 50% OFF*"
I can see no difference in the price per item whether there is one or two Related Madness items in the cart.

I currently have:
Lihua - $2.79
Wisdom Expressions - $4.71
Nainai Outfit Textures - $4.71
Sunny 7 Pro Bundle - $21.26
Grand Total - $33.48
Adding another Pro Bundle (I have tried Aiko and the female Centaur) just adds the new bundle at $21.26. Surely it, and the Sunny bundle should drop in price as now there is a 50% discount, not a 40% one?
I didn't really want the Nainai textures, but the main bundle offer doesn't trigger without it there as the Lihua character is not working as a New Release, even though the bonus item usually does. And I do want Sunny 7 rather a lot.
No, because you already have other items in the basket that already count towards the "Buy Two or More", so that multi-buy discount is already at 50%.
A $21.26 price is consistent with a $134.95 item discounted by 50% (Multi buy) x 50% (Related items) x 30% (PC member) x 10% (Key item).

Gosh, why on earth can't these sales be simpler?
I still don't see why two bundles doesn't have a different price to one bundle, but it seems that one bundle is actually showing the 50% off in the first place, yes?
I may just leave it, I would really like Sunny, and rather like the centaur, but I just can't be having with all this confusion.
The multi-buy offer lumps in pretty much everything - Newly Mad, Still Mad, Related Madness, Mad Artists... (possibly not Bonus Buyer? It seems that Lihua triggers the discount on others but doesn't benefit from it), so by the time you've got the two Newly/Still Mad items for the additional 50% discount on Related Madness, the multi-buy offer is already at 50%.
As I said, that price works out as the multi-buy discount being at 50%.
Multiplying up all the discounts with the Multi-buy at 50%: 0.5x0.5x0.7x0.9x$134.95 = $21.254625
Multiplying up all the discounts with the Multi-buy at 40%: 0.6x0.5x0.7x0.9x$134.95 = $25.50555
i would think it depends a lot on sales and if they met their revenue goals or not.
Then I hope other people gave them enough money so the Madness can end ;-)
So I was complaining that the extra discount on "Related Mad" is only for new bundle buyers and not owners. Well, today that discount is even a little higher and goes to everybody purchasing at least two Newly or Still Releases. So far so good, right.
Well, that's where the Madness continues. I already own all of todays related mad but one bundle. And of course from that bundle I own all the single items. Bummer! Let's hope that DAZ is sticking to that discount scheme and some of my wishlisted stuff will make it into Related Mad within the final days of the sale.

This is my first year during March Madness! Sadly I was broke during the last gift card sale xD
..finally got something for a decent break thanks to the purple banner over the weekend. Picked up the G8 Male Head/Body morphs and Floyd all for about 29$. Now that is more like the MM I remember.
OK, OK I said I wasn't going to get into G8., However, G8M does have some nice, more "real life" characters that G3M doesn't.
@Elgyfu, If you really don't want the Nainai Outfit Textures, you should find something else you actually do want. As others have said, the "two or more" isn't limited to the category, or products featured on the MM sales page. There are over 200 artists' catalogs on sale today, and any of their products, older than 60 days, will qualify as your second product to trigger the 50% off. (Any product that will qualify will show a 40% discount in the product listing, as well as on the product page—or 58% if they are also Daz Originals.)
I recommend clearing your cart, and starting over, with Sunny 7 Pro Bundle as the first item in the cart. Do you have items in your wishlist? Check there for products showing the 40% discount. (Or 58% if they are DOs.) Put one of these items in the cart, and you should see Sunny go back down to the $21.26. Once you've found something that triggers that 50% discount, put Lihua and Wisdom Expressions back in your cart.
And if you haven't already installed it, I highly recommend you get and install the Daz Deals plugin. Among many other things, it will show you in red the percentage discounts you're getting for each item in your cart, as well at the overall discount with your cart total.
...and I've got one of those old leather aviator's helmets & goggles somewhere, as well as the "Rack", "Soft Cushion", and "Comfy Chair".
If I was betting, I'd say that there will be one this weekend, maybe Friday. If not, then the same time next week. Mrs. Chow 8 hit last week. We get a new Pro Bundle roughly every two weeks and there's usually a GC sale the weekend before a release. Also, one of those weekends will probably be the final catchup sale for March Madness, so there may be a GC sale to boost numbers for that.
Has anyone tried Lihua without Mrs. Chow?

this weekend.. hmm so 30+31, very late in the month, innit? but effectly the 2 last days (in march, lol) of MM. hmmmmm...
why do i kinda "need" to know? simple: i live in europe, 7 hrs ahead of daz time, and have to walk/take the bus downtown to reload my card. having a GC discount or worse flash sale after 7pm in my timezone (barely noon at daz's) is a catastrophe, i don't even have a bus any more (over 30min walk 1 way) and shops are closed. and after 10pm (only 3pm daz time) i can't even walk all the way further down (and up, sigh) to load the card at the station, which means i totally miss it ~
so of course i'd love to know in the morning/early afternnon before i go to town, otherwise it's a darn hassle ^^
DimensionTheory's new HDRI set is only discounting at 30 percent in my cart. everything else there is discounting nicely.
