I forgot how to use Luxus with Daz Studio.  I should look for some tutorials.  I don't think I installed Look at my Hair.

  • Complaint:  The fall has started.  Temperature outside on my porch is currently 18F and that's 6 degrees higher than the weather people say it is right now.  Probably because the thermometer on my porch is downwind of the exhaust from our gas furnace when the wind blows as it is tonight.  Weather people predict 1F overnight.  Brrrrr. indecision  Also predicting more snow. sad

Non-Complaint:  By thursday it will be raining again.   Can't make up its mind this winter.

It actually went up two degrees here in the past two hours!  It's 37 F, and raining.  I hope it doesn't get that cold overnight...everything will be glazed over.

Hello again TZORG!  Yeah, complaining is the 2nd oldest profession.  It started right after the 1st one developed problems. frown

My friends, I submit to you one of the wonders of the 21st century, the truly amazing and utterly fantastic LEFTOVER PIZZA SANDWICH.

Two slices of pizza, a pile o’ salami, a mound of provolone and some stray lacy Swiss... a feast for a king.

Daz Install manager is downloading files at 37 Mb/s.  Hair products and high quality characters will take a while to download from Daz's servers at this rate.

Complaint it is a bad idea to drink lemonade while waiting for a taxi that is late.  End up feeling uncomfortable on the trip home when they finally arrived.

Non-complaints;  there is a survey place at the mall I work at.  I did two surveys and got ten dollars.  I got some bath and body works soap.  Two of them for less than 3 dollars.  I also got some mini pretzel dog nuggets for about 5 dollars.  I had about two dollars and change left.  I went to food court to see if they had crab Rangoon which was 3 for 2 dollars.  They had 4 crab Rangoon on display.  Okay I asked how much it would be for 4 or them with mall employee discount.  It was about two sixty something.  I had two dollars in my pocket but my debit card had the rest. I went into my lunch bag to look for my wallet but it was not there.  Before I could look in my backpack for my wallet which had my some coins and my debit card, the customer lady before me put her card into the card reader and paid for my food.  That was nice of her.  I thanked her.

I did find my wallet so my drivers license was not lost nor my debit card.

complaint fire alarm at home is too darn sensitive.  It just stopped ringing but it started when I came home.  Basically when I opened the sun room door to get inside.  The fire alarm is in the sun room right outside of the kitchen.

I am home and I probably should eat my crab Rangoon soon.  I was waiting for my ride home which was about an hour late I think.

I had a little phantom of the opera problem a while ago... the little ones are the worst because the scurry off the moment you come in the room and the they can hide under furniture... this one was really annoying... kept playing “music of the night” all night long... eventually I got sick of him and put out some phantom traps and now the problem is solved.

    Good luck with yours.

Daz Studio encountered an error durring rendering.  Now I need to close Daz Studio, popen it again, and load the scene.  Then I need to wait for Daz Studio to optimize images.

edit: nevermind the memory leak.  Web browser was using a lot of RAM.  I should close some tabs.

Thanks for the welcomes. I am curious, have you had 3D-related projects in the works continually over the years?

I haven't been in the forums of course but I've at least visited the DAZ store nearly every day in the last ten years.

....well I did until a HD crash a couple months ago. Took several years of my most recent development work for my stories with it.  Currently in the big "rebuild" of my content libraries and runtimes (almost 5,000 items through the DIM alone) . Not looking forward to rebuilding my massive Freebie library as that all has to be done manually.

  • TZORGTZORG Posts: 148

    5000 through DIM, wow!

I feel a big relief that I don't need to install everything DIM has for me... though I am also a little sad to say that about things I paid for. Looks like I have 3200 files of which 1200 installed.

...I probably have half again as much in freebies plus Rendo content which I'll have to manually install.

Here's a non-complaint. I created an auto UV mapper and it doesn't tile all that badly...
