That is wishful thinking as she seems to be addicted to putting me down,

firefox is acting up so using iPad to type this.  I am still not sure what that extra long windows update was all about.

...sounds more like she needs to get written up and then called before your county's or state's social services commission.

Non-complaint:  Expected snow has not shown up yet.  Yay!

Non-complaint:  I just got a snail mail advertisement for winter performances of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO).  Only one item interested me.  On Feb. 15 & 16th they will be performing Holst's "The Planets". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Isic2Z2e2xs  And although it's one of my favorite pieces I don't remember ever hearing it live.  I'd dearly like to go.  Fortunately they have a Friday morning performance at 10:30AM and price for my usual excellently positioned seat is about $25 less than I usually pay. yes

Unfortunately it's in the middle of February in Buffalo. frown  So, buying a ticket ahead of time is out of the question.  It will be a spur of the moment decision based on ticket availability, weather and road conditions.  Plus I'd have to get up at 6:00AM to be on the road by 7:00AM and would have to deal with Buffalo's morning traffic to be in time to be parked in the handicap area of Kleinhans Music Hall's small parking lot (which is probably even smaller during winter because of piles of snow) right next to the theater by 9:30 to attend their pre-show morning meet & greet with breakfast goodies.

I haven't been to Kleinhans Music Hall and wallowed in its body massaging acoustics in a very long time, so it's time to do it again.  smiley

Gustav Holst: "The Planets" (full suite) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Isic2Z2e2xs

    Kleinhans Music Hall: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleinhans_Music_Hall

...Kleinhans Music Hall, designed by Eero Saarinen and his father Eliel.  Eero went on to be the architect who created this iconic masterpiece at Idelwild (JFK) Airport

This iconic monument along the Mississippi River.

...and this bold structure in my old hometown of Milwaukee (a local icon).

Had to pull up an old photo to show how it's design was dependent on the location and surroundings.  Since then there have been expansions to the museum which in my view, defeat Eero's stunning lakefront statement (2nd photo).

...'plaint.  I love peanut butter, great on toast for an afternoon snack.  However, considering all the advances we have made over the decades, I still find it odd and annoying that natural/organic brands always have that half to three quarter's inch of oil on the top requiring one to stir it in before using and hopefully not make a mess in the process having it goop out over the sides of the jar and onto the kitchen counter (also difficult and painful to do with my stiff arthritic hands)?   Yeah I know there are "no stir" versions, but they use palm oil and there seems to be a major issue these days related to its production.   I most definitely won't touch the popular name or house brand PBs (even though they cost less) as they also add a lot of salt, sugar, and other ingredients (including some which are "questionable" for human consumption).

I even had the jar stored upside down for several days to get the oil to flow to the bottom before opening it up as some recommend, and that didn't even work.

Crikey we can land a probe on a comet but we still can't come up with a simple solution to that layer of oil on top of peanut butter without resorting to environmentally bad or unhealthy means to do it.

Interesting  information that I didn't know about the architects.  yes  And since Kleinhans Music Hall is actually two separate theaters (a big one and a small one) each of which is parabolic in shape (which yields the renowned acoustics) and consider the first three building images you gave, he clearly liked parabolas and flowing curves. indecision  Also the interior design of Kleinhans Music Hall is simpler but perhaps an embryonic example of the interior shot you gave.

It was so much easier when one used a computer, now people browse the internet on all sorts of devices,  desktops, laptops, notepads, eyepads, notebooks, ebook readers, kindles,  iphones, smart phones, not so smart phones and even down right stupid phones and people still expect things to work perfectly on all of them from one simple set of forum software.  Ask Alexa to fix it

...I never bothered with YouTube on the phone as it drained the battery pretty quick and the sound was terrible.

I named a hairball I removed from the upstairs bath drain... apparently I amused myself with that enough that I modeled a book, UV mapped it, made graphics based on it and rendered it...

I think I carry jokes too far.

only 4   I am 3, Scots, Irish and ENglish With some remnants of older Gael.  My first husband, father of my sons is English/Italian and Romany, so my sons have Scots,Irish,English, Italian. Romany and some more English.  Then my younger son picked a Dutch girl, so my youngest Grandaughter has Dutch added to the list.  My eldest Son married an Irish girl.

Not many jobs avaliable in Wales really.  We retired to Wales when we gave up working.

Will there be a sequel or has that gone down the drain?

You carry them just far enough to reach our funny bones!  And we appreciate it...at least, I think I speak for the rest of us on this.

I need to take another shower soon.  Not that I stink but I do not want the staff to make a stink that I did not shower today even though I showered before lunch today at mum’s.

Right now I am waiting to see if someone will PayPal me something they promised.  They said tonight or tomorrow morning.
