I"m trying to figure out the best way to edit mo-cap animation

I was able to loop walk cyles in MotionBuilder without too much an issue, BUT when I export that walk into BVH and import into Daz (I made it to fit Genesis) the cycle looks nothing liek it does in motion Builder

Is it best to edit the BVH files in Animate?

What about iclone?

    Try here:
    http://www.ikinema.com/

Well ... I did not tested this yet ... I want to test here for a few days ahead ... I think this will be a solution for me ...
Days ago, the technical support of truebones the Mr.Bones, replied via email, he said:

    "Hi Jorge,

Yes, Just import your Daz Studio character in FBX format,

THe Free bvh will drive poser characters as is, but if you want you can use Ikinema Webanimate

to retarget the motions to a daz genesis character,

    Check out the video.

    Thanks and Cheers"

Problem with the Ikinema....you need the internet to do that

and when I did use it, the little online motion problem is very GPU intense. I have a 16 ram computer...it's a high end gaming computer, maybe 6 months old. And the Ikinema was making my tower freeze up and over work itself.

Ikinema might seem like a good idea, but unless they make it an offline application, I can't and won't use it

Huummm, as I said, I did not tested it yet ... But ... That's just so heavy, as you say? It is heavier than the editor Mixamo?
Anyway, I bought a motherboard with Asrock Z77 chip, which supports 32gigas of ram memories, the seller has sent the card, now buy the missing memories, and also have a Gtx560se.
Maybe ... If you import only the skeleton ikinema, there is light?

    Never used Mixamo

But I still don't have the internet to use the internet source as I please

Although ... Mixamo allows only edit motions acquired from their store. I wanted to buy the all-access package, but the value of the dollar (U.S. $) is too loud for us Brazilians, so I decided to leave it for now

Mixamo's all access is worth it

You can rig as many character as you want
you can use their motions for the whole year
AND you even get to keep all the motions you made through out the year

The all-access pass was more or less made for game makers or people that use the site a lot

That's right! In Mixamo, I have uploaded my poser characters in BVH format (upload the character bvh format, will load only the skeleton) and have edited some free Mixamo motions successfully
