Carrara Kitchen

Hi All :)

I've uploaded a scene for Carrara with a version for use with the OctaneRender Plugin,. the shader settings aren't' optimised for any specific version of octane,.

or even very good in some cases,. you can adjust to suit your needs.

this scene was originally intended as a test scene for the Octane plugin (beta) but life and things happened and it's now a little bit late for the release of octane for carrara.

the scene can be downloaded from Sharecg.com

http://www.sharecg.com/pf/3dage

Notes on install :

there's a leaf file in the zip, which you need to drop into your Carrara /data / plants/ leaves folder

or,. just chuck out the little plant.

all the textures are in the folder with the scene files. labels should be easy to change in an image editor

Kitchen COR.car is for Carrara with the OctaneRender plugin

Kitchen CR.car is for Carrara's Render engine

Thanks to all of you :) and to all those who helped and contributed.

I thought this may be a useful scene space (with or without the kitchen stuff) and be easy to expand into a bigger scene by using duplicate with symmetry.

The main walls, main furniture and stuff,... should be easy to rearrange to create different looks. see pics...

PhillW made a little set of dish cloths, (many moons ago)  but,. sadly i've lost those,. I suppose with VWD, people can add clothy/towely things.

Electric kettle 220/240... must be British!   I tried to have a 110 in the US and it took ages to boil, so did it on the hob.  My husband (who has a bottomless tea mug) wanted to merge two slots in the breaker box to put a 220 in, but we would have had to get a building permit!!  They think you are adding a whole damn kitchen if you have more than two and creating a granny flat or an apartment to rent out. EG you could only have one for a stove and one for a clothes dryer. Doh?

Will be using this when my project gets a bit further down the road!

I love induction... there's one at the holidy house we rent at the beach. Stuck with gas here... better than bog standard electric.  Now am hungry, too, after playing with a 4 year old all day.cheeky  Silene
