I’m not sure what the marketing dept was thinking here. This supposed “ deal” is really NOT a deal at all if you already Lee 6 and Lee 7. I would rather have the price discount that has previously been offered with pro bundles when you own previous generations than a discounted gift card. The selections of possible free items has been offered before to the point that I already have the ones I was interested in.
Right now there’s very little incentive to get the pro bundle and that’s really sad because I usually snap up the male pro bundles ASAP in order to increase the amount of male content in my library and also to show support for future development of male content. This time I really cannot justify doing that.
Being as it’s a holiday weekend for everyone in the US, I don’t think waiting until tomorrow is going to bring any favorable changes to the offer either.
At this point, I may just pick up the base figure and HD morph and call it good. Later on the other items I like be be discounted in some sale or other and I will pick them up then.
I don't feel people are complaining about Lee 'himself' rather what appears a rather poor deal on the pro bundle considering the previous deals for other figures, coming so soon after the PA and PC sales it seems even more counter productive.

Nobody is complaining about Lee 8 or the contents of the pro bundle but rather the pricing scheme. Those of us who have the previous Lee pro bundles are not seeing any of the incentives/loyalty discounts that we have seen since the launch of the Genesis 8 figures. This also happened with Mei-Lin 8. Not everyone uses gift cards. In fact I suspect rather a lot of people don’t . This is just a really bad deal for loyal and long time customers

the for a limited time only on the gift card offer makes me wonder if for today only and tomorrow will see some really good offers for owners of Lee8pro

To get Lee8 Pro bundle and ten items "free" you would have to purchase a $332 gift card, providing you got the 20% off gift card offer, that is. Then use the gift card money to purchase the add-ons and get those incentives as well. Sounds like a plan.....but not for me.
I have decided to interpret the high prices as a glitch that will be rectified Monday at the latest. This way Daz can give refunds to those who bought early without losing face. Otherwise, I would have to think that Daz read the forums and, seeing the inordinate demand for Lee 8, decided to gouge us.
Pro Bundle was $66. 10 Free items came with the purchase. Total of $66.00. I don't understand the math that got you to $332? You get 20% off the purchase of a gift card. A $10 GC would cost you $8.

Why not just buy Lee8 Pro, for $66? You get the 10 free items with it, if in the cart at the same time. And the 20% off is off the Gift Card only.
It doesn't say that you have to have the pro bundle in the cart when you just buy the add-ons for their incentives. At least for now, it works for me.
now that is interestingFrom the promos, the new Lee 8 figure appeals to me. Beyond that, I am on the fence even though I like the accompanying content. For the Pro bundle, my test cart including the HD morphs and enough other add-ons for the i13 incentive was over $100 ($US). Serious budget buster. May just get the base figure and HD mophs. Had been expecting something in the $60 range, and saved up a gift card to that effect. Buying the Lee 8 Pro bundle will crowd out my Black Friday shopping. Not sure.

That is an option, albeit distasteful. I was just showing Linton's mathematical reasoning. For me, the choices available for the 10 free items consist of items that I would not purchase even for 25 cents and a few items that were on my wishlist three years ago. I haven't paid $66 (or even $50) for a Pro Bundle since Darius 6.

sheesh, i could never buy anything from UK - aussie to UK is woeful, even worse than aussie to US.
at this point those bangles with what ever comes tomorrow might be all I get .......

Bundles are a no for for me. I'll pick up Lee 8 and maybe one or to more items. I can't stomach skinny jeans on men.

And on top of this price, the HD is not even in the bundle, it was not in Meil Lin 8 either, so I am not happy about this.
I do spend so much money in this store but I have to take a step back now, I can not afford it anymore, this is just a hobby.
You can use the coupon, and ask for a refund on the lost portion. CS asks thatb you avoid using the coupon on a cart with freebies if you can, but sicne in this case you can't there should be no issue getting the refund.
I like him. I like the Pro Bundle...but 66$? No discount on buying Add ons? I hope this is an bug and will corrected at the morning over there (I am in Germany) .... And the Gift Card Deal? Really? I have Lee6 Pro and Lee7 Starter... and I have bougth much Store Credit in Gift Card sale for -15% recently for the comming male character....so I will not buy any Gift Card for a while.... The Ironman13 freebie deal is nice but.... at the moment...it ist all together too expensive....sorry... I am used to do better deals on Pro Bundles, and I have a lot of these.... and this as a "Thanksgiving sale" ????
Yes, but you need to pay first then get a refund, so you spend more upfront.
A year ago people didn't even know if there was going to be a Lee 8 or when....
And even if people had saved money specifically for Lee 8 for the past year, they probably would have done it for an estimated cost similar to previous Gen8 bundles. However the way Mei Lin and Lee are promoted means that you have to shell out more money than for previous bundles, so what they saved may not be enough.
It's great to finally see Lee, but I saw what the add-ons and free items were which was pretty disappointing compared to Mei's launch a few weeks back. Just not enough to get excited about.
I am once again saddened by today’s deal. The lack of a discount for those of us who have both previous generation pro-bundles and the lack of any real discount on the add-ons is once again surprising. Maybe this worked last time, who but DAZ knows.
Now, I did purchase the Lee Pro Bundle, but the 10 free items (I did throw ten items in the cart) honestly isn’t useful. These are 10 items I have passed on countless times in other promotions over the years, but they’ll probably sit on my hard drive and never be used. I also didn’t get any of the i13 items because they just had a big sale on those and I purchased all the ones I wanted.
I spent roughly the same amount of $ today as I have on other pro bundles and add-one I’ve wanted, but I got less content. Furthermore, this also means I’m supporting fewer DAZ artists. DAZ will still make it’s money, I just see this pricing ultimately hurting artists in the long run. I would think most artists would rather make something off of a discounted sale than nothing off a sale that doesn’t happen. A number of add-ons I would have purchased normally I just skipped because I hit my limit.
