Great render and expression! I love her dimples and she definitely has a personality!
....with 2 Addons, if you didn't already have all those featured content bundles, how could you NOT buy this. I got so much stuff for $34 it's crazy! I like the more realistic body shape characters. This is a cool addition as far as I'm concerned. Nice hairs in the pro pack too.
My take on the bundle: As far as the character of LaTonya herself, I like the face which is just bubbling with personality, but not the body, which, of course, can be dialed out. And I think all the clothes in the bundle will look much better when used on a normal body. The outfit with her stomach exposed makes her look like tacky trailer trash which is sad because I think her face looks more like a business professional or TV personality. I'm getting the textures for that outfit though, because the pant textures are nice and can make the outfit usable and cute on slimmer bodies.
I think the bundle should have had business/office clothes for her, the outfits are OK for other characters but IMO don't fit her look at all! (But I LOVE the space suit, so glad they included that!) The two hairs are OK, but nothing particularly original, poses are fine, and the PA characters are nice. Not thrilled with that sports outfit but if it's retextured, it could be usable... I still had two free pro bundles I didn't own completely or 99% of, so with the freebies, totally worth it!
Always female characters or useless male ones like Toon Dwayne or all the male creatures. Harrison HD was one great exception ... yes I know that SEX sells and that's why DAZ always release females ... help support "R...tica".
How did you get everything for $34, care to share the details?
I think the $34 is the pro bundle price if you get an extra two add-ons. It should not be inclusive of the add-ons.

Love the Kakenda Outfit. (Wiah it had been in the Pro Bundle.
Did not care for the Sports Diva outfit because I am not a sports fan, much (personal reason, the outfit looks well made) and did not like the space suit as I have something similar and would love a more tasitional suit where the legs are not exposed to the environment. (Again, personal reasons, the suit looks well made.)
I do wish the HD package had been included like it has been in other Pro sets.

Laytonya 8 Pro Bundle plus two of the cheapest addons (for example Nail Bar and Just Attitude) is $40.39 in the cart. Then apply the $6 PLATCLUB coupon and voila the Grand Total is $34.39
Thanks for the info Charlie! I have the HD addon and the extra textures for the space suit in the cart at the moment, so I guess I need to do some calculating on what I want.
Not that I'm not a big fan of having two black females, but is Monique just chopped liver now? Wish they'd have beefed her up and given her more love when she was released. Guess she'll be that 'friend' that hangs out with the cool girls.
I haven't gotten my banner yet so hesitate to buy. Not sure what my discount will be if the banner has a code or something that you need to apply.
I'm feeling ripped off now that I see she doesn't come with the HD add-on. Whats the deal with that???? We've gotten them with the last several figures, so why not her? That sucks. Even with the discount in my cart it's till almost $10.00. C'mon Daz.
Plus, just noticed on the premier artist page that's pimping the Latonya stuff has her name misspelled. They have 'Lotanya' instead of 'Latonya'. Geez. Can't type much??

I took a look while being logged out. It's not just a few items, but a LOT of pro bundles.
OK, I really like her. Here she is as an upscale business woman. Eyes are from Minka (I didn't like the eyes she came with,) thinner body and a retextured Sports Diva Outfit. DS default HDRI. There is something more real about her than most characters... I think she may be one of my favorite Daz Originals!
She has a Vivica A. Fox look to me. Nice. I think that if the sport outfit was retextured it would be ok. Even the socks would too. Textures as we know can drastically change the look.
I like her. Here she is On Watch at Oberon Station.
I used a variety of shaders on the costume and used a geometry shell with a leather shader to make the leggings. The boots are from Gemini Warrior, retextured to match the gloves.
So this is my cart. Is this what everybody seems to get for pricing? I had to get the nails cuz none of the Daz figures come with current trendy nails IMHO. I'm getting Tween Julie because some of her outfits would look cute on that little girl from the morph pack for Latonya. And the Anneka Pro bundle cuz I just found out she has some pretty nice clothes and characters, plus the addons that are included! The rest I already either have or have most items from them.
But anyway, this is the pricing for me, and I don't have a banner. Wondering it I should wait til tomorow?? Also, this no HD thing for Latonya pi**es me off. Why hold it back for her?

I like the figure, but--like a few others have mentioned--the additional content feels really lacking to me. Gonna pass on this one, even though there are a few G3 pro bundles I have my eye on.
Yes, those are the same prices I got on the same products although I did not get the HD morphs
Is anyone else getting these weird blotches on her elbows and hands???
And the Sports Diva Outfit looks decent with Fabiana's Shader Plan Knits BUT the dress is pretty bad. Here I had reduced LaTonya's body by around 80% so it's mostly just plain G8 and I just added a tiny bit of cleavage from regular Daz morphs and immediately there was pokethrough and no morphs to fix it although adding a smoothing modifier worked but why are there no morphs on it (except a full body morph for Kaylee and Penny)?

The dark splotches on elbows and knees are very visible in the promo images, too. Go back and take a look, now that they have caught your attention, you will see them there, too.

Because that's how elbows look. Now EVERYONE has elbows that look like that, but that's a real thing.
Especially the hands. That's 100% the look.
It's all in line with her being a little older.
Vic 8 took the Daz age up about 10 years,
This is perfectly in line with that.
Not to mention, that many black people tend to have darker skin on their elbows and knees and knuckles. Especially after they reach a certain age. I know my mother does. It looks normal to me.
