I already have one realistic female & male pro bundle so I have no need for this pro bundle. I had a bigger need for realistic middle age and old realistic pro bundles so I was glad DAZ made those and they are on my wish list.
It's an OK pro bundle, but not something that one couldn't easily create using past Genesis 3 & Genesis 8 characters with DO or other PA morph packs and FaceGen. She's sort of full-figured (only on Madison Avenue though folks
) like Bethany and Penny which looks nicer in my eyes but the clothing is the usual wierd over-sexed heroine / villian type outfits.
I like her a lot. And the price deal was unbelievably good. Pro Bundle worked out at £33.07 when I added all the extras. And I got two Gen 7 Pro Bundles too.
It's odd, but I think the Cornibus outfit is one where the pieces are more than the whole.
-The top can be a staple for people who like to render skimpy dressed females. Yes, those shoulders are odd, but in a vogue way. I can already see it re-textured into part of a futuristic stewardess outfit.
-The skirt is pretty standard, though it does cling very tight to the body. I'm sure people will find a use for that.
-The headwear probably looks best when fit very tightly to the skull, then it can act as either a helmet, or as some surreal demonic horns. It has potential.
-The sandals are a pretty standard model, but quite often, "standard" is exactly the thing that's hard to find (I've been looking for ages for stiletto ankle booties with a single thin anklestrap for example, a model that was pretty common in the eighties before they started making lasercuts in every design).
-Briefs are great for new users. People who've been around longer probably already have more of them than a campus student has in his drawer after doing a pantyraid.
I agree, I like the character but am less interested in the outfits, but I think it's because I feel that I have it all already. The Dark-Space Outfit is kind of cool, but the heels ruins it all.
So yes, I'll buy the character but I'll skip the bundles, especially as it doesn't seem that I'm eliglible for any discounts this time.
Damnit Daz!!! Why you do dis to me?!? Yesterday, I was all like, nah... spending too much here for stuff right now, gonna take a break, maybe grab the next pro bundle later after payday, don't really need to drop a bunch of cash on a gift certificate right now. And then you bring out HER the next day. And... today only sale??? Why you do dis to me... Why? Take my money, just... take it!

P.S. All joke aside, I think she's beautiful, and I don't have Monique 8 ( I do have 7) and definitly not enough non-white/asian girls for 8. I see a lot of people wishing for more Asian characters but I have a ton of them, I don't have black, Hispanic, Indian, middle eastern, so she was a no-brainer for me.
Glad to have the pro bundle offer back, been able to build my library of people, hair and clothes a lot thanks to those. Should be fun to do some renders with her and the gorgeous Minka (my favorite of the bunch) after work. Wait... the new Destiny expansion came out today..... Nooooooooooo!!!!!!! (breathing intensifies)

That's the same price I'm seeing except I already have all the free featured items (Gen 7 pro bundles); so no extra incentive for me to buy the pro bundle.
I'm scratching my head over some of those outfits too. Thankfully I do some strange looking characters in comics so I probably will be able to use it. Happily the only thing I bought yesterday was a $300 gift certificate ;)

Yeah, Daz usually gives a discount for people who already have all the free items that others can get, but nothing shows up for me either this time.
I like her face and the textures are really nice. Hairs are nice also. Luckily with morphs I can change her body from chunky to tone and more attractive for my tastes/projects.
The clothes in this bundle probably the worst yet, the sports diva, ugh, and the weird space costume, really why would Latonya go in space. Such a "diva" would have much better hair. And I can do without the "yeah girl" expressions. Be that as it may, she's in the cart
She’s very nice. Does Minka have a makeup free option? I like the skin but the heavy eyeliner in the promo makes me wonder.

I spent too much already but no regrets, I was long overdue to get some males in my runtime DNA so I went with Edward 8 pro bundle..I wish there were more male choices, so I chose the muscle morph addons to try to create my own. I also notice that they do not include the HD addon with the pro bundles any longer.

I know impracticle clothing is a must for female characters, but really, if you have to wear a deep space helmet to breathe having exposed skin is probably not a good idea... :P
While I agree with the basic sentiment, it looks as if it would be pretty simple to colour the skin to match the suit (and perhaps use a weight-mapped Push Modifier to pump the surface up a bit).
I like her a lot (but not the bundles so much). However, I'm not gonna buy another thing until there's a realistic male (preferrably Asian). The lack of males is so obvious this generation that I'm almost sorry I bought into it. I won't be making that mistake again. As for Latonya, I'm sure folks will get a lot of use from her.

yeah aint that the truth my total was $52.10 US but in our money it was $75.32 it can be an expensive hobby for us aussies at least there's the discount with bonuses just imagine what our price be without them and full price
Basically built my own Pro Bundle for a tiny bit over $44.00. Like her body shape allot. Love the sassiness she exudes. She reminds me, out of the box, a bit of Beyonce.

I’m really excited that the massive 75% off discount applies to the base. I’m not excited enough about the non-hair products to get the Pro ( even if I lack most of most of the free bundles still ;-p) but I do really like the base.
And I’m also reconsidering how I feel about Dwayne...
Yeah, just when you thought they had finally stopped penalizing their best customers for buying early, they relapse. Oh well, I guess it's time to start not buying so there'll be something I can actually get for free when they start rolling out G9F out in three months. :/
I get it, but at around $33 for the pro bundle (with 2 add-ons for a total of around $43 depending on the ones you choose), it's still one of the best deals for a G8 bundle we've seen so far. And better than some of the discounts I've seen on the early G8 pro bundles that have been going on sale recently.

This Pro bundle was a great deal for me as I'm still collecting the Genesis 3 bundles and now that I have RiversoftArt's clothing converters it means I add more to my G8 wardrobes as well as G3. I also closely studied the clothing in bundle with a view to kitbashing, because I only rarely use outfits as they come out of the box, and decided that I will get good use out of them. I got a lot for my $ this morning.
I think it's meant more as a fun retro pin-up or anime outfit, not for realism... And I love it! My favorite thing in the bundle! And this led me to other outfits I really like by HM, a PA that somehow I hadn't really noticed before but who is now a new favorite!
I like Latonya - reminds me of Queen Latifah. I like that she is has meat in her. Her skin looks real nice to me. Could have had better stuff in the ProBundle, but right now it is coming up as only $33.00 for me, so maybe if I add the $6 premium discount it would come out cheaper still.
