Poser loads oddly

  from the 'edit menu' choose 'General Preferences' (CTRL+K on a PC), Then set in the popup window under 'Launch Behavior' -- 'Launch to factory scene'. Close and restart Poser. You may have to adjust your settings. And before closing poser, change 'Launch Behavior' to 'Launch to preferred scene' again

  Ouch, my age is showing. it is not "Launch behavior' but from the 2nd tab in the popup 'Interface' change to 'Launch to factory state' ...............

  (and after restarting poser change that again to 'Launch tp previous state' ................)
