I was thinking of reading King's pet sematary but I am afraid it is too scary.

First King novel I read. Very scary but tamer than some of the films and TV series you've mentioned.

i read pet semetary, got too scared and couldnt read the end.
got up to the truck accident, amd predicted what came next

the 1 other novel i was too scared to finish was Bethany's Sin. Robert R. McCammon. eeeek

I was checking to see if it was in the online catalog of my local library.  I can get the audiobook today but have to wait a bit on the kindle book.  I am waiting to read Carrie from the online library, but hopefully that is good too.

On the plus side you can always close your eyes at the scarey parts ......

My other card doesn't work.  I think I used it on the Daz Store two years ago.  I haven't used the card since then.  I have enough money in the account. Hmm.

0.o unless it is an audiobook.

At pool but forgot sunscreen complaint.  Been here a little over an hour.  Went down the slide 4 times.  I think I am done for today.   I do not want to be as red as my swimsuit.

I hate insurance on phones.  They make it too complex.  Break the phone and then pay $200 more to get it looked it or something.  Also free tablet deals suck.  They say it is free but it is not.  It just raises the monthly bill until they decide you pay enough to consider the tablet yours.  A free tablet is like a free kitten.  I once got two kittens for "free" but they did not end up being free.  This "free" tablet is not free like the kittens, but unlike the kittens, it is not cute and fluffy and fun to play with.

I hate it when customer service is a pain to reach because the autolog off is too short.

The original ethos of the thread when it first started, way back in the archives of Daz 3d History, was to take the mickey out of those who kept posting complaints.

btw, for those not familiar with British slang :-

    Take the Mickey

to say something in order to try and make someone or something look silly, especially in a friendly way. Doing this is called mickey-taking and someone who does it is a mickey-taker

A place to vent frustrations, be silly, be pedantic, brag, bore, moan, groan, gossip, and otherwise avoid being a nuisance in other more dedicated or dour threads.  I believe we're tolerated here because we're "mostly harmless".  Which is also what was said of Earthlings in "The Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy". yes

This thread is, I believe, the longest lived, most active, public thread in the forum.  It has lasted years and been through more reincarnations than I can remember.  Anybody is welcome but they must willing to grin or laugh or at least commiserate now and then . smiley  Life's tough, we all need a break.

My feet are dirty.  The floors of the entire house are dirty.

edit: maybe I want dirty feet overlays for Genesis 8?

Complaint?:  When I first returned to this area 10 years ago the summer was rife with big storms and I had to make sure the computers were on surge protectors or UPS's or even unplugged many afternoons.  But for the last several years the summer storms have been mostly drizzles, soakers & downpours but very few thunderboomers.  Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

There are dirty feet overlays for Gen 3. Since Gen 8 uses the same textures they should work.

Yes it has several points and much like a holly leaf you should take care in handling it so you don't stick yourself.
