Zero Threads about the Male dForce Suit.. How many about breasts

Just wondering... I saw at least three seperate threads about breasts, and not a single one about the awesome H&C dForce Male Suit. I haven't even used it yet and I can tell you its awesome, because its dForce and its H&C. Add male to those two things and you have an instant sale.

I would like to see how it does in some sitting or action poses.
I was wondering the same thing ;) The suit looks fantastic and I've got it in my wishlist since I overspent a little this week. (I may be ok with macaroni for dinner for a month, but the hubby isn't. LOL)

I should probably start another thread about breasts to make it more even, LOL
That suit just flew into my cart, the boob stuff didn't!
I just ate breast of chicken for dinner, with rosti and mushrooms in lemon butter. Perhaps we could have an OT breast thread with recipes for aforementioned items
Tsk. You're just not thinking broadly enough!
A thread about the suit on a female character, showing how it drapes against the breasts, of course!
... What? WHAT? Look, people, you know it's going to happen. (Fitting to a female, I mean, not the thread, necessarily.) That's just the way things work around here!
But only if you show renders of a female character in the suit, with her or whoever is in scene with her cooking the aforementioned breast of chicken. (Or possibly turkey or duck. Why limit ourselves?)
... That would be a weirdly interesting and confusing way to make a recipe thread. "Why aren't there any pictures of what they're cooking? And why are all the characters in the same clothes?"
Also, what's "rosti"?
I'm pretty certain I can't fit breasts into a pair of briefs, so I have little interest in them.
The suit looks gorgeous and, with the dearth of really nice male clothing, it was the very first thing that flew into my cart. I haven't used dForce yet, and it wasn't the motivating factor for my purchase, but I would love to see some renders applying dForce.
I bought it and the bed but I’m at work and will have no time to play with it until tonight, poor moi. I too have no interest in breasts.
rosti is fried potatoes aka hash browns, more or less, for more more of themmmmmm
The suit is nice & the breast dForce seems difficult to use properly but it matters not to me, I'm expecting maybe Girl 8 Pro Bundle tomorrow.
For dinner I made a chicken breast stew with carrots, rice, and cabbage. I'm down for a breast recipe thread. lol :P
Nooo... was hoping the two male items released today might indicate the new release would be male.
lol That made me laugh!
Oh good! I can relax for the rest of the day
Maybe someone could post some renders of H&C dForce Male Suit?
I am initially unhappy. And here's why: through geocraft or some other such witchery we are hiding body parts which makes it drape and bend unrealisticly.
I had such immensely high hopes. If I could just figure what is going on here and TURN IT OFF, this would be so cool. Look at the knees, the way the cloth bends and deforms... because the legs are NOT there. This is not okay. How do I bring his legs back? I see no geocraft, they are clearly not turned off in the scene pane, but remove the pants and they are not there.
That's diaaspointing :(
IDK i think you could, depends on the size of the breasts and briefs in question, I imagine
Disappointing, indeed. And it's hard to tell from the small image, but that right shoe (In back) seems to bend very cartoonishly - where are the creases you'd get at the bend? Sigh
, I was hoping this would be a realistic addition to the male wardrobe. Or does anyone have better examples?
That is disappointing, and a bit odd. Why would the legs be hidden? That's so weird.
I tried to autofit to my girl I am building as a quick test(g8f). Her legs didn't go invisible, but they weren't inside the pant lags either lol. Weird. I will try some tests on men when I finish building the girl I am working on, might not be until tomorrow after work though.
I know on the police uniform this vendor did for G3M I always have to hide the thighs even when the character is at their default G3M size because they poke through the breeches.
Vendors in general seem to do this for two reasons these days. First, because it really is the easiest fix for pokethrough -- just have nothing there to pokethrough. Second, in the era of Iray, hiding the legs removes the textures from the scene texture weight. The problem with doing it here is that it looks like it does something odd with dForce, which depends on the geometry being, you know, there to work properly.
As far as the clothes goes, basically, it looks like the suit effectively turns the legs into a geograft. Another vendor did that with some other clothes, and posted a solution some time back..I don't know if that's the solution here, though, since I don't have those items.
Again, I don't know that this is the issue. Someone who has the suit will need to check through the pants DSF in the data directory to see if that's the issue. (A text search for "graft" will work. Also, if you're on Windows and would like to try this, it is very strongly recommended that you not use Notepad for this. It can leave junk characters in a file that make it unworkable.)
Yes, in Windows you should use Wordpad not Notepad as Wordpad is 8-bit.
Thanks for the advice @vwrangler, used DSON Editor (RIP ralf, miss ya) to remove it.
I also opened a ticket to have the vendor add a non-graft version because it defeats the purpose of having dForce if the bloody legs are not there to collide against!
Wow, yes very disappointed with this hidden legs issue. I have bought very little dforce clothing up to now, but this one I bought immediately. Hope this gets fixed.
Hiding also makes sense where the clothing would constrain the flesh - really skin-tight jeans, for example, or armour.
As well as editing the files to remove the geoGrafting you can use the Geometry Editor tool to select one polygon you don't mind hiding, then right-click, Geoemtry Assignment>Auto Hide group for Fitted items (sorry, from memory so the label isn't quite right) and select the GeoGraft, then unfit and refit and switch to another tool to see the result.
@redz Can I just say that I use your stuff all the time? Hair, brows, bodyhair... my total "goto" at the moment and probably the foreseeable future.
Ah thanks @evilded777 :) I try to make things I want myself, and am partial to male content. I have lots of H&C’s stuff and very happy with the quality generally, just not quite seeing the value/benefits in this latest dforce suit as it stands.
Greetings,
I hide the body also, for texture memory reasons, but I always do it _after_ I've done any necessary simulation. :-( This seems like a 'this is my habit, and I haven't thought about how it's going to affect this new dForce thing' bug.
