She looks really great! I hadn't intended to invest anything in G8, but I might just break that plan for Lori. smiley

  • it's a very  beatiful character even if I never render rounded noses stills very cool as whole and for the albino options and two ages choices , thanks you divamakeup, wish you great sales

  • Congrats, Diva- you've done an excellent job!

Hey guys, I just wanted to start a thread to introduce you guys to my first character, Lori for Genesis 8 Female! I'm so excited to have her in the store. And after 2 rejections (my first two products where rejected - rightly so - they weren't as good as I could have made them and I've learned and grown a lot since then), I finally got accepted with my third product, Lori. :)

Lori was a lot of fun (and a lot of work) to create! From head and body shape sculpting to textures to learning how to do Joint Controlled Morphs - I learned a lot making her. :) She and I went through a lot of "growing pains" together. lol And knowing that she's now going to be a part of other people's character libraries makes me very happy! :)

I wanted to give her a proper send off into the world! :) Hope you guys like her! laugh

Good job, and twothumbs way up for doing promo art that makes your teenaged character look good at both ages but doesn't feel objectifying. (When It's a grown man or woman, or someone who at least looks college-age, it doesn't push my buttons as much, but with teenaged characters it gets a lot iffier). Hope she does really well for you :)

If you only knew how hard it was to find age appropriate outfits! I think it's getting better with some of the recent dForce releases that are more modest. Thank heaven!

hahah Isn't that the truth! :) And yeah, I'm really glad they released dForce - we're seeing more clothing that covers a bit more and it's starting to balance out the skimp wear a bit more. lol :)

I was really pleased to see I didn't need any additional software packages in order to get the younger version of Lori. I will definitely be picking her/them up. I like these two much better than the teens DAZ itself has been releasing.

Congratulations on becoming a PA, Diva! And wow, I'm loving your debut product. I've only been playing with Lori for a day and she's become one of my top five favorite characters of any generation.

hahah Yeah, when I submitted her the first thing they asked was "Did you use 'Growing up'?". lol I don't have that, but I'm sure it's a great product (Zev0 always does amazing products!). :) I just thought that since G8 is kind of newish, that people would appreciate having characters that don't require other morphs. So both age versions are full head and body sculpts without needing other morphs. :)

Thanks a lot. Lori is the best character for Genesis 8, I have rendered so far.

  • Thank you very much. Appearing right after a major figure purchase, I had to think. It was too good to pass up. I found quickly it is reasonably easy to make younger characters with G8. You did it very well.  Best of luck as a PA.

  • Congratulations! I bought her immediately on day one.Her adorable face was the biggest selling point. Realisticand yet stylized just enough. The texture and options she comes with are worth the purchase price themselves. Love her! Between Lorie and Bluejaunte's Young Faye and Lyra, I think these Teens and Tweens are the best G8F has offered us yet! Please keep up the good work, and keep em rolling out! Thanks for a gorgeous and fun product.
