The 60% add-ons promo has been difficult several times, as it is one of the few promos that has persisted so long (what? more than 2 weeks now?) so it gets caught in the gears every few days. At some point, it applied the 60% and nothing else, or it applied the PA discount when a particular item was from a featured PA (40% or 50%) instead of the 60%, with or without the Loyalty Rewards discount. I don't think the 60% should stack, but override any PA discount, as was mentioned (way back) by Richard Haseltine in another thread that discussed this very issue (Holiday Sale Add-On Items discounts not right).

There's only one problem with applying discounts in a manner that overrides any PA discount. The sale doesn't state anything of the kind! If Daz wants one offer to override another, they must clearly state that fact in the advertising, (preferably right next to the offer that's doing the overriding.) It isn't stated anywhere on the sales page, therefore, the discounts must stack or Daz is in violation of FTC guidelines. Period. And the FTC has some pretty stiff fines for companies that don't comply. They take false advertising very seriously, and as Daz is a US company, they must comply with FTC guidelines.

    Ergo, it's a glitch!

I don't disagree, just repeating what had been said elsewhere. Might not be right, but that's what seems to be in effect, intentional or not. Sometimes. But, yes, it doesn't say one way or the other about stacking discounts.

Wait, there was a glitch I missed again?

Depends on which glitch. The latest glitch is still there. Only this time, it's in Daz's favor! Looks like, (speculation,) the tech fixing the 70% off glitch got a little over-zealous with the rules and took off the Featured Artists' discounts on the Addons.

This is probably the last night of this sale (that's just a guess though, I could be wrong of course).

The animated banner promo still says “Let it begin!” Hopefully we’re just warming up. ;-)

Another clue is the red banner saying the Loyalty Rewards carry on through the end of 2017.

  • Glitch alert!  The Catch Up Sale 2015-2016 Top Sellers category is currently basing at 70% off instead of the advertised 50% off.  Loyalty discount applies from there, so they total at 83% off for me.

On the other hand, the Holiday Sale Add Ons are either coming up with only 40% off or no sale at all.

Get the sale while you can!

Not sure if this is a glitch or not but since I missed every positive glitch and only have gotten negative glitches lately, I took advantage of this and Daz got a lot of money I would not have spent at the previous prices so I see this as a win/win for both. Maybe they did this on purpose to increase sales. If so, it worked!

Well, it was up pretty much all day but it is over now.

Looks like this glitch reversed.  I mean, I put a bunch of stuff in my cart and not only did it all show full price, I didn't get the advertised discount or the rewards discount.  So, no go on that one.

The glitch was fixed last night, but you may be seeing no discount because certain items were cycled out of the 2015-2016 top seller list (I think items cycle out after 3 days or something). It's a pretty short list at the moment compared to earlier this month; would think they would be adding more. At least I hope they will be adding more.

Glitchmas! Ha, love it! Pretty much on the freebie budget at the moment till after Christmas. Thankfully, between Rendo, Fantasy Attic and DAZ, there are plenty of those too. Haven't had a lot of DAZ shopping time anyhow, Have to do actual Christmas shopping (*shudder*)

Well I had a very frustrating weekend. I bought a large-ish GC in the 12% off sale on Friday - unfortunately just about the time that CS would have gone home for the weekend. I've never had a problem with a GC before (no, amazing isn't it) but wouldn't you know this time I got a GC code that didn't work. All those catch-up opportunities and glitches and no store credit to spend. Grrr!

(I raised a ticket of course, but being the weekend nothing happened until this morning. All credit to CS for a nice speedy job, but a day too late for that catchup)

I know it's too late now, but if it's a glitch or not, I'd take a screenshot of my cart and send IMMEDIATELY to Customer Service, stating the time of the screenshot (which they should also have a date/time it was received) and say you expect them to honor it because their gift card code wasn't working and the purchase would have been made. They can easily verify the code doesn't work. Customer Support has always bent over backwards to assist me, and from what I can gather from other folks, most of the time they do an absolutely stellar job. Worth a shot as you're documenting it in "real time" with sending it in immediately.

Yes I considered screenshotting, but I decided it was karma: just the universe's way of telling me I shouldn't make those purchases that day! Plus I'm sure there will be another catchup coming along soon.

Could also be the universe has something better planned. Hopefully by the end of the month/year, you'll see this code issue as a blessing in disguise.

Daz always sends me two codes every time I buy a gift card. The first one is incorrect while the second is the valid one.

Do you use Paypal? I've heard several people in the forums get the double email and good/bad code pairs when they pay that way. I bought the GC with a pre-paid credit card, which I did on 43 occasions in the past 5 years, then the 44th use went wrong. Each of those earlier 43 occasions, I just got a single code and it was valid.

Well it's not that simple to implement into the current system according to the explanation they gave me. I'm not sure I can post it here though as I had to sign an NDA to get the information they gave me at that time. But among others there are also performance issues to consider.

Really? Sorry that response you heard sucks. One would be better off to spend their time gathering bulldroppings rather than listening to BS. Think about this ... How come Overdrawn and Ati can do it with DAZ Deals??? To do this there must be an api by DAZ meaning DAZ has is extending capibilities to developers via an api. Facebook does the same, allowing developers to utilize an api. An example would be when users show their Facebook likes on a site unaffiliated with Facebook or utilize an api utility tool to see who unfriended you. DAZ Deals didn't hack Daz3d.com. They particiapated in an api. If a third party developer could figure it out so can DAZ. The bigger question is why haven't they. DAZ Deals will fade out the icons and say you own them despite DAZ trying to get you to buy them again. WQhat';s DAZ's incentive??? DUH I dunno. Which is why everyone who does not have a throat hold on what they buy from DAZ sign up for DAZ Deals. I micromangae my content and I was highly impressed on how they managed to flag and I mean flag as in YOU OWN THIS ... on content DAZ shows as unowned. 2 thumbs up for ATI and Overdrawn and one two down to whoever enlightened you.

Okay this may be a first. I am quoting me. I have been so-o-o-o pissed over the past few days. I typically save all windows of carts that go south but somehow I closed them. I ask my husband if had any open carts. No luck. Than he said. I do. I got the emails from ATI and I have the itmes you wanted saved. NOW my problem is ... how do I put in a support ticket and have ATI/Overdrawn Daz Deals get commission on it? Because without them I would have no pricing proof od what I tried to buy and had carted. @ATI any thoughts?

I'm sure Daz isn't going to give them a commission but I'm sure they'd probably appreciate a donation to help them keep the Daz-Deals Add-on work going. I'd drop them a note here on the forum and ask them for their Paypal info and send them a little something if you want to show your appreciation. :)

To be honest, this price proof thing is a funny one that I never quite understood. Jamie always asks me for a screenshot of the low prices, but... we are all working with images here on this site, aren't we? Everyone can create any screenshot they want. I never cheat with this, but in general, I can totally imagine people doing it.

I don't think Daz would accept the notification e-mails as proof. Sometimes those prices are only live for a few minutes. Having the e-mails alone does not prove that you could have indeed made that purchase in that few minutes. In this regard, a screenshot of the cart is still better.

The example here was pro bundle vs starter bundle. The addon does not mark the starter bundle as owned if you have the pro. You, manually, can use the plugin to hide the starter bundle from accidentally purchasing it, but that doesn't mean it will show up as owned.

Jamie is fantastic, has my highest respect, and has always treated me great. I own 4500+ products that I do micromanage. I keep a spreadsheet of everyting I own, from whom, for what, reg price, discount, any ticketed credits, when bought, sku etc. but my DAZ days are numbered but his is what amazes me about your app. Some stuff does show as own, yet Daz offers it for sale.I just did a temporary extension on this PC to finds an example. Here's one attached.
