Heyyyy!!! Hiya Dana! Thanks! How are ya?

Hangin' in.  Trying to make my website work for me.  Wow, terrible typo in my first message!  Weclome???   frown

    Dana

LOL... Not so terrible. In fact, I didn't even notice!!! Now, the fact I didn't notice... that's prolly much worse!

Hope you get your site figured out. smiley

Oh, the site itself is working, mostly.  One or two little things I need to polish, but it's functional.  It's getting customers to buy.  And getting vendors to stick around.  Everyone grabs the freebies, though.  I need to learn modeling and start creating things of my own.  I should try some texturing again, too.  Marketing is also difficult.

    Dana

    Well...

I HAD to go peek! Everything worked perfectly! I hope it is a great success for you! smiley

    Did you register?  No?  sad

Did you look for the email with the activation link?  I can activate your account manually, but I keep hoping people will look for that email.  Many do, but quite a few others seem to ignore my advice on that, and sometimes they never complete activation.

It might have gone into your junk mail.  It comes from [email protected]  Add that address to your safe senders, and also please look at Members/My Profile on the menu, for things you should take care of afterwards.

Let me know if you didn't get the email, or emptied the junk/spam folder before checking.

Actually, I just activated your account.  But still look at your profile, please.

Not one you can bluff your way out of, that typo.

My son, when we were closed while changing hosts, put "Please bare with us while we transfer everything"    When people queried if it was a typo I replied "No, because while we are closed you can't download any new styles for clothes, so Vicky and Mike are naked"

I hope you at least handed the poor woman a sword!!!!! :-o

Big pot of dead bird in yellow Thai curry with green onions and petite carrots on the schedule for tonight.  That will last me four days. Nighttime temps gonna be around or below freezing all week so need to stay warm and the best (as well as tastiest) way is from the inside.

Dead bird curry, yum!  I prefer dead bird to dead cow for Thai food, or non-trayed dead fish.

    Good day everyone!!

t's beginning to look a NOT like Christmas.. dead grass, some leaves, warmish..it's 75f outside and my window is wide open. Upper 60s to low 70s all week, wow!  Need to grab a beer and sit on the porch in my shorts.

Sent in my final timecard for  days, the money will go towards glasses abd the eye doctor..  Any left will go for food, I still need to cook on Christmas and New Years.  Just being bad to my body, pulled another all-night Top Chef marathon.  And I thought Cutthroat Kitchen was hard!Try cooking fine dining food over a firepit!

Nothing much going on, still just relaxing... hungry for Thai curry and soft pretzels though, isn't that weird?

Snow on the ground here.  Shoveled it off the driveway...mostly.  It isn't melting, though.  And it looks like we may get more this week.  And that will be my complaint.

Off to doctor again tomorrow for 3-week post-op checkup.  At least I seem to have finally stopped bleeding for a couple days.  I get to bend my surgeons ear about my hallucinations and lack of sleep for 36 hours while initially recovering in the hospital right after surgery.  I am not a good patient, made a fuss, and had to get out of the hospital and away from whatever was causing hallucinations so that I could get some sleep.  Never again prostate surgery two days before Thanksgiving!  Also, hospitals are where you go to catch diseases, so I caught a cold or flu from the other guy in my room.  I think it was fluish but since I had the vaccine it was very mild but still had chills & shivers, aches & pains for the last couple of weeks while gritting my teeth and dancing on my toes everytime I had to pee or even thought about peeing or even had a tremor of an erection.  And having to use absorbent shields to mop up leakages for the last three weeks has been great fun too.  And until stretched valves return to normal (if ever) I discovered that I have to make a dash to the pee pot every time I get out of my chair.  Too much information yet? devil  This was not this much trouble the first time they did it. sad

But I still wake up in the morning,  I can stand upright.  I can control the flow of food in or out from both ends.  And I can sleep at night.  You know, the important things. yes

...yeah have moved away from beef in a lot of my cooking with a few exceptions (my burritos as well as Pho and occasionally in Teryaki), and I still like a good burger now & then.  Not much of a "steak & potato" person anymore.  When I can find (and afford) it I'll sometimes use buffalo for my burritos. Much better and healthier than most ground beef you get at the market (especially that stuff that comes in those big tubes).

Used to love shrimp but lately it seems I'm developing a sensitivity to it.

Gads this spell check really needs a better dictionary and some recoding.  I'm finding more and more that I have to manually fix typos as the suggestions are sometimes so off base for what are common typos it is ridiculous.  Apparently "when" is no longer a correction option for "whne" (it used to be) and while it finally flags typos like  "teh" and "adn" it doesn't list "the" or "and" as possible corrections.
