    I get this to in similar poses - Turning of Mesh Smoothing seems to fix it though

    oh thanks for that that fixed it thanks would think smoothing on wouldn't do that and instead fix things like that

    It's the collision iterations in the smoothing, try turning that down to 1 instead of turning off the smoothing all together.

    it's official, Monique is the figure to get me started using G8, LOL. I was relunctant since I really was heavily invested into G3 and happy with what I had. I even bought Victoria 8 and a few hairs and clothing on sale for when i did decide to use her and then along came Monique (and Imani!!!) and my will crumbled. Finally installed DS4.10, installed the G8 figures, my sparse G8 content. Used the Singular Blues script to bring over a few of my custom and Genx morphs to G8 and now I have a good starting point.

    I really like what they have done with Monique 8 and especially love the Imani skin. Here is my first render with G8, Monique, Imani and a few other morphs thrown in the mix.

     

    What are your dials on that beauty? :D

    Yep. I had a figure kneeling and had to change the pants. They go whacko when the knees are bent. REALLY whacko.

    It's complicated. I had a custom FBM based on the Daz morphs, several characters, and some third party morphs I put together for G3F. I used the Singular Blues script to transfer that FBM over to G8F and then applied a few of her morphs as well. If you are really interested I can dig thru both G3F and G8F to compile a list. I enjoy creating my own characters, but that makes them harder to share the settings, LOL.

    @llynara I un clicked the CPU box in the advanced settings and it is not crashing anymore but is really slow - I had both the gpu and cpu ones clicked along with the OptiX box as was suggested for 4.9 but yea I read about the memory issues in the past and it was suggested to un check the cpu box and that stopped the crashes. 

    And because my system is so slow here's another late one. :) This one is Alondra for Monique 8 such a pretty model!

    Thanks @alliekatblue Love your renders, everything is taking me so long to do it's so nice seeing your renders to see what the girls look like. I really love the Star mix too!  Sometimes I still forget that we can mix the characters.

    I know what you mean. My father had a stroke in July and I moved home temporarily to help my mom out. So for the past 4 months I've been using my Dad's computer. So all renders since the summer have been cpu only. Sometimes it takes a whole day for one render. But I love doing them and in the end it's worth the time. Your render is lovely. Keep it up

    Awesome, I discovered this script at the middle of the PC+ anniversary sale (2017), so.. I didn't play yet with.

    How did you get her to transfer without eye issues? I think I tried transferring Star 2.0 a couple of times but always ended up with distortions around the eyes.
