More Monique renders, please! :D
Here's one of Monique 8, but with Alondra textures as I was having an aberaration about M8's makup ;)
Alondra with a dForce'd tunic from the Casual Dayz product.
Nice renders!
I really love the Monique8 skin, I find it very realistic. Here's my first try (with a little face morph).
WOW!
Amazing render, This is like a photograph !
well, i wanted this for last night, but it was at 21% render ..so anyway ...
Three Moniques
I wish there was more variety in her eyebrow. The plucked brow at that arched angle look odd to me
Thank you very much @Fisty and @Musicplayer for your nice feedback!
Looks very nice!! I love the earings too; are those textures from the Looking Back Outfit texture addon?
Nice! I couldn't see the texture details from the promo pics, but I must say I'm really liking that combo...oh no, looks like I'll be stuck with yet another addition to my cart
Well, haven't invested much into G8F, until now..... This 'Monique' bundle did indeed appeal more to me then the previous ones. Now just figuring out how to best render 'her'. A 1st try didn't exactly turn out as desired (got the lighting wrong, but realised that waaaay to late
). So what to do - just 'gimp-it'
- and as such my 1st try.....
Couldn't wait for the renders to finish so a little splotchy.
Imani
and Alondra
Beautiful! The skins look so lovely on both. I also got Imani and am really loving her
Imani is really tricky to light but so gorgeous
Monique 8 with small facial changes.
Nice
I really like Monique - She is easily my favorite of the Gen 8 Characters so far
Here is a quick render of Monique , Laverne & Alondra
I forgot to put the Monique Pro 7 and Pro 6 bundles in the cart with the Pro 8 bundle. Do I just return the Pro 8 and repurchase, or just tell Daz in a support ticket what happened? Putting them in there completely slipped my mind at the time.
I really like the lighting on the first twelve promos for Monique 8. Any ideas if this is a set?
Wow gorgeous
I want to know what the bikini and glove things in this promo pix
Nevermind I think it's Fantasy Barbarian Outfit, but is this a texture set?
Just put in a support ticket and let them know that you forgot to add the free Monique 6 and Monique 7 Pro Bundles to your cart before you checked out. They will tell you what to do. :)
I love the Alondra render! That lighting is really lovely. The blue highlights on her skin really make the render pop! Nicely done!!
That intense red lighting is really cool! That last render looks a bit like Amanda Waller. lol
Very well done!
Beautiful!
Wow very nice, the lighting is outstanding!
I just wanted to add my voice to the Happy as all heck camp for Monique 8. Excellent shape! Excellent skin! This is the direction all the skins need to move into in my opinion. The skin has all the details needed to look like a real human without over doing the details to the point where the texture upstages the morphs. I can see creating characters with this skin and not having fellow dazers immiedately reccognize which skin product was used. All we notice is that the images we render with this skin look generally realistic, even if they dont look exactly like a particular human being.
Good points. From my experience I've noticed many women have slightly darker abdomen areas simply because they wear shirts that expose the belly button area to the sun much more than other parts of the torso and hip areas. As far as the hands I too think they way they are done here is convincing. Deciding just how deeply to bake the wrinkles and other feautres of the hands is a tricky endeavor. But to my eye this looks close enough as to not become an eye sore anytime soon. The fact that her lips are lighter than the rest of her face is more distracting than the hands to me, but again, well within the range of acceptability from my view. Truly excellent character release. I'm certain sales will bear out this same observation.
What this texture gets right is that thee is a consistent amount of detail. I am not goign to assume that this texture was based off of a real human photos because there's no requirement that it be so. This texture could well have been constructed using pore and wrinkle brushes and procedurals and the like. th epoint is, there is no blurring in certain areas due to poor image captures of the original human, there dont seem to be any baked in specular as in previous generations. Less is more and in this case the proof is quite obvious. Great work, Daz3D!!!
Alliekatblue- Do you do promo renders? If not, you should. I'll definitely be looking to hire you when the time comes for my own skin texture releases which will be quite a bit different than anything we've seen so far. I'll keep you posted.
