Exactly, looks really really nice in the render - there are definitely some very tempting characters for Monique. I'm going back and forth between which to get as add-ons - Imani's (https://www.daz3d.com/fwsa-imani-hd-for-monique-8) very dark skin looks incredible in the promos as well.
Oh, she's BEAUTIFUL!! The best G8 female yet! Even the extra characters (which I normally have zero interest in) look amazing. And the pack in clothes are pretty decent, too.

Damn right. I'm actually impressed! LOL. And considering my loathing of the G8 line, I surprised myself! Other than PA-created characters, I haven't liked a single G8 base. But Monique is fantastic.
She's just stunning! I really loved the other Moniques, but kudos to those who worked on this one. She is unique enough to stand out and very, very lovely. The add on characters are great too, and I'm liking what's in the bundle. Now to go find some spare $$$!

My feelings to the G8 line started out with optimism, which quickly turned into tepid interest. But Monique 8 is stellar. I think maybe Daz is starting to take some of the concrits of the last few female figures, because I feel she strikes a good balance between idealism and realism (even though I didn't mind the non-Barbie doll looks of Victoria, Olympia, and Stephanie). I know I can be very critical of Daz, but credit where credit is due: she's one of the best so far. Makes me very optimistic for Darius 8, whom I hope we'll get next month.
She also will work as a great "base" for a model of an original character of mine (one of my oldest characters I've created) to get 3D printed eventually too, hehe. Just need to get subbed to MD7 again and learn how to make some of my own props and textures for her. XP

Kudos to Daz for getting the character morph, skin, and promos right. I don't know why joelegecko isn't handling everything, but it's a nice change to have professional-looking promos that flatter the character rather than having to wait for users to post renders so we can see what the girls really look like. After Victoria & Olympia, I was about to check out. Thanks also for heeding our request to introduce Monique and Darius earlier than usual. Five months from Victoria to Monique is a huge improvement over a year plus.
A similar thing happened to me last week, HorusRa. I was charged $78 for a $27 purchase, but that amount never appeared in my cart or at checkout. Yes, Sales Support credited me the difference within 24 hours, but now I check my Orders page and card account after each purchase, which sucks really.
Meh. Might have considered her, especially with Daz offering the previous versions again, but I'm not a fan of glossy people. Yes, I know I can change those settings, but I prefer to use the defaults when I work with them.

This girl looks gorgeous, jumped in my cart
She looks great to me. I am not especially fond of the poses. The image of her in the black and gold swimsuit with the arm twisted behind her back looks unnatural. Her mouth expressions can look a bit off.
Her hair and figure are nice. Clothing is unremarkable. Makeup sometimes is a bit harsh and some images look more Ru Paul than every day.
Overall, though I like it.
I actually quite like her, and the add-on characters are gorgeous. I don't even mind the wedge heels on the Minerva outfit, since it's rather obviously based on Diana's training outfit from the Wonder Woman film. She may be my first G8 female purchase. Just need to go searching for a few more pennies.

While Daz will default to store credit, I think, you can certainly ask that the refund be made to your payment method (PayPal here).
no exclusiveoffers for me by the looks of it only have 6 7 bases and few other bits BUT still pretty good deal if I get Monique 8 pro she is only $38.87 which in Australian is #53.07 + Monique 6 and 7 pro bundles free I'm liking what daz has been doing offering previous pro bundles for free when new version is released regardless whether I have them or not that is pretty cool of them to do that and even if I already do own them I wouldn't begrudge others that don't and from what I've seen those that do have any of the previous pros do get an extra discount just a little note pc members if you claim any pro bundles as a bonus do not use your daz $6 coupon you will not get full $6 off as it'll split it up over the new pro bundle and whatever free pro bundle you cart even though they are free it'll only knock off $2-$4 but if your only getting the new one you'll get that full $6 off
oh and if you add any of the new addons you can either get it to equal the same price still or slightly less or more give or take for example adding casual dayz will drop the price by around $1 and you basicly get another freebie

She's a great looking character, though I don't know how much I'll actually use her, given my past history with the Moniques. On the other hand, her Pro bundle is fantastic, and while I have the Monique 6 Pro bundle already for the 10% discount, I never bought anything in the Monique 7 Pro Bundle except Monique herself so I'll be picking up all that content as well. Score I'm also splurging on the Strike back texture pack, something I almost never do, as while I already have dozens of leather bodysuits that work fine with G8F, the leotard with gun holster options in the add-on pack have a great Diana Rigg/Avengers era feel that will make it so much more usable. (And am I seeing things in the images, or do we actually get different textures for the gun with each variant?)
On a side note, I do hope this foretells a new trend for DAZ with getting the ethnic characters first rather than an endless parade of similar white girls. Hopefully Darius, Mei Lin and Lee will get the same priority treatment this time around.
So she's gorgeous except I see weird things with her skin. There seems to be a darker section of her torso that goes diagonally across her and there are weird dark spots on her hands. I will definitely be getting the pro bundle anyway, so happy to finally get the Monique 7 bundle free! And the other things in the bundle, I really like too, Laverne and Alondra look stunning and the clothes look good. The bundle went right in my cart but haven't checked out yet to test this....

The hands thing looks natural, I have that on my hands where the skin is thinner over my finger joints. But the dark lines on her torso do seem a bit odd.
