ShaderSpider

Is Poseworks still around? Any chance ShaderSpider can be updated for Poser 11?? I understand the code is available for free but I don't know how to do this stuff. I would love to have it work in P11, it was a very handy utility. It's a shame I can't install P7 on this computer, otherwise I would try running it in 7 and then transfering the files to 11.

Shader Spider stopped working after Poser 7          I really cursed, as I used it all the time.       It's something to do with with Smith Micro changing the Python scripting version,  which they have done a couple of times since as well I think.     It affects quite a few things, not just Shader Spider

  • I'm cursing too right now. Just getting back into Poser after many years and looking at all my cool scripts that can't be used is making me sad. It's too bad. They must be able to be updated somehow.

If you know more about Python than I do, it is Open-Source, and the Python Source is here (it does not incude the presets) so it can be updated...

PS.  Poseworks Particles 3 has been updated to work with Poser 10, and can be downloaded here:

Thanks for the info. I had seen the shaderspider was open source but did not know about Particles. I don't have 10 but do have 11 and most likely won't work but I will try it anyway.

Alas the Shader Spider source is gone from the link.
