...leaves beginning to turn here. Had a couple days of significant water form the sky.  Hopefully that dampened the fire situation for the rest of the year.  Sunny though somewhat below normal temp wise here today (average is in the low - mid 70s).  Slow warmup over the weekend, may actually get near 80° by midweek next week.

Jose is taking his time getting out of here.  Was windiest around 4:00 am.  Now it's a littlbe breezy.  Rained again a little while ago.  But wait, there's more...Maria is setting her sights on us now!

...and Florida along with the Eastern Seaboard and northeast ain't out of the woods yet. After chewing up Puerto Rico Maria is on her way west/northwestward still packing 120+ mph winds as a cat 3 hurricane.

Fire danger is on a high setting for us for this time of year, will go up pretty quick if we get some rain between now and December :)

Not sure if that was supposed to be parrots or patriots. smiley

  • I think my computer mouse is going bad.  I'll need to buy a new mouse.  Sometimes the left mouse button doesn't work.  Sometimes the mouse acts like I relased the left mouse button when I didn't lift my finger off the button.

..well, hopefully not a flock of these patriots.

Not much fun walking in the dark with no moon. No moon + equinox == spookiness :)

Have you changed batteries? My Sharkk mouse does that when the battery gets low, even before the "low battery" warning comes on.

Been watching Ed Edd n Eddy again,  and I had to laugh at this little exchange:

Eddy:  Ed, how can you be so stupid?

    Ed:  I watch cartoons Eddy!

When a cartoon (especially within EEnE's genre)  says something like that xD

Continued non-complaint:  I just realized this afternoon that I probably had a photo of that pheasant that I saw a few days ago.  Sure enough, my dash-cam caught it as it skittered across the road.  Cool!
