I'm not seeing any "jacked up" prices. Using the Daz Deals plugin and checking the V4/M4 category by %Off shows a large number of PA products at 40%. DOs are 30% off for members. And items that are both are at 58% for members. There are also a lot of items not on sale, so showing at the full price.
For the DO promo, the same applies. If you're a member, you're already getting 30% off. Then if the item is $15 or more in your cart, you can apply the coupon. Next week there will be a different promo.
Using the Daz Deals plugin, check any item you are interested in and the plugin will show you the price history. You will see the item has been on sale and a lower price. But what you won't see is a jump in the regular price. Does Daz ever increase the regular price? Maybe, I don't know. But nothing I checked has had a price increase during the time of the graph, and to me, "jacked up prices" implies a price increase just prior to a sale. That has not happened.
While I may not see anything that tempts me to use the coupon code, I'm not going to blame Daz for that. The days of stacking sales and 93% off practically new items and older items for well under a dollar may be gone forever, But considering none of that was intentional, I'm not going to complain about it.
To me it depends on several factors. How unique is the item? Will I actually USE the item? (I've bought several things in the past that I have yet to use - yikes!) What's the percentage off and what's the new sale price? (Some items start out kind of high, imo, so even at a larger percentage off it may not be at a price range I feel I'd pay for the item given it's age and the work it would require to look good in Iray.) How often does the item go on sale and how long ago? Does it have a history of going cheaper (this can be checked with the Ati and Overdrawn App). Is it something I could use Right Now, or would I kick myself for buying it now and it goes on a deeper sale in a month or two?
These are the factors that play into what I spend my money on. BUT, I'm on a really tight budget so I suspect I'm a bit more cautious about what I buy than what the average Daz customer might be. lol
The 70% off V4/M4 with a new release is stacking with the Daz Cash offer. So a DO item in that category $15 or over with any new release will get 70% off and still qualify for the $8 off.
I absolutely LOVED that sale! hahah I think the prices for the cheapest items went from like .11 cents to around .30 cents. I don't remember having that much fun EVER here as I did the day that strange sale landed. lol I spent like two hours (two fun hours) going through all the RuntimeDNA stuff that was part of the sale, deciding what to get, and buying things one item at a time. lol I ended up getting like 50 items and spending about $7 or $8. It was Amazing!
Really? I couldn't get that to work...'course my cart's currently idling with a bunch of PC+ items in it (maybe that's throwing it off...). :-P
I got the shadow dancer bundle for the price of a new PC item.

Other than that...does anyone know what the bikinis are on the V8 promos? It looks sorta like the same bikini in both, but one is a deco-like pattern with gold beads on the neck ties and the other is leather, plus something tied on her leg.
It sorta looks like the leather/metal thing on her leg is something from the Kadis armor set which is definately mine as soon as it goes on sale.

That one was a blast! I think I had at least 50 orders that day- for 11 cents each. OMG, my order history was a mess! Now, every time there's a DAZ Original RDNA blowout, I think I get like 1 page with 12 items on it. I have almost all of them!
Argh! Another 'animals' sale, but Noggin's Crows are still full price!

The new Highschool Classroom set does not appear to be 30% off. I was trying to use it to trigger the flash sale discounts. It triggers the discounts on other items, but shows up at the full price. Is anyone else having this issue?
The DOs in the Back To School sale are a pretty good deal right now
In this instance, I'm not saying that the prices are jacked up over list. I'm saying that they are pushed back up there compared to the much lower prices that we've been seeing in recent months...and pretty much negating the usefulness of the coupon or the sale. There might be some really good deals in there. I just haven't found them.
Dang...just had a cart jump...not sure why. Did all the PC+ items get removed from the 70% off clearance?
Daz Originals clearance sale not working as advertised. I've got one new release in the cart from the Back to School Sale, and two from the Creepy or Kooky sale, and one new PC Item and all I'm seeing on the "clearance" items is the standard 30% discount for PC members.
ETA: Nevermind: didn't see that you had to limit the number of clearance items.
Ah...so, it's not just me. My cart jumped about 15 mins ago...from $135 to $260... All the PC+ items went back to standard discount. Oh, and so did all the other DOs. Looks like the 70% off deal has either dropped or isn't working.
My in-cart prices just jumped too and the 70% does not appear to be working.

I don't complain a bit about the sales where you have to play games with the product mix in your cart in order to see the final prices, but I sure wish the CLEAR SHOPPING CART button worked so it wasn't so darn difficult to start over. Why have a CLEAR SHOPPING CART button on the screen if it does nothing useful?
Hm. Right at the moment the "Freebies" are no longer free, but sell at 30% off. How very odd.
Well, I guess the thread hasn't lived up to it's name in this case, and I can't wait any longer. 5 months and those birds haven't been on sale. Now I'm out of time, so I guess I'm paying full price. DAZ still does price matching if it goes on sale in the next month, right?

Did you see there is a limit on number of items you can purchase? After it was fixed, I thought it was still broken because I wasn't getting the added discount. Then I saw Odaa's comment and realized this was my issue as well, and once I took out some items, everything was ok.
Yes, I can't remember the time limit. But, they are very good about it.

I put the reptialian 6 bundle in my cart, then added 3 cheap new releases to get the bundle down to $16.79 then tried to use DAZ-CASH and it's invalid because of the new items

Nevermind, I removed everything but the reptialian 6 and tried to use the coupon and it said invalid. I'm sure I only used it 4 times, but I guess I better double check.
