    Bijou is/was a special "bonus" character that is deliberately priced high to discourage people from buying her.  As I understand it, due to a quirk of the store software at the time (which may or may not have been upgraded since) they couldn't have something in the store that could be added to people's accounts without that item being "live."  Thus the ridiculous price.

    As for what gets her - I have no idea.  Rumors include Anniversaries (Passed my 10th without getting her) and just randomly (which I think is probably most accurate)

    It's pretty much at the whim of the mods.  I made a comment in a thread on the subject and she appeared in my runtime the next day.  :)

    And yeah, I'm finding this promo to be a bust as well. Glad it's of use to some folks, but I've pretty much mined out everything I want that's eligible.

    na    nuffink to do with the Mods,   we don't have that sort of influence,  honest we don't.

    They should really fix that spaces problem. It can be done in a few seconds with just one simple line of code...

    I managed to make it work for me.  I filtered to DO products, then sorted by price low to high.  Around page 60 they crested the $15 mark.

    $15.37 became $7.37.  But that's right around the cut-off point for my shopping.  I'll generally only go over $8 if it's something with insane utility or that I need right away.

    I finally caved. Picked up an outfit and hair from my wishlist. And I'll admit it did save me some money, doing two seperate orders I only spent about $16, with both in the cart it would have been $24. So all good. :)

    Ok, can anyone please explain why it won't work for me? I tried to purchase Jonas for Genesis 3 Male regular price $24.95. On sale for $17.47 so it's over 15 dollars and it is listed as a DAZ orginal item but when I try applying the coupon, it won't recognize it. sad

    that's a new item. new things are not eligible for the coupon.

    If you see the little green banner in the upper right corner of the promo image and that green banner says "New" you will be out of luck on specials and sales. I got the DAZ-CASH coupon to work for me, but you do have to observe the restrictions.

    Well I managed to use the coupon five times.  Yay! 

    It was a bit tough to arrange the last couple of times, but I finally just clicked 'daz originals' under the sort on the trop level sale page, and sorted the prices in decending order to find the products in the $15 or so range after discounts.  Fortunately there was some stuiff there that I wanted.  A couple of them I probably could have waited on for an extra $1 or more off or something in a future sale, but they tied in to my current projects, so it works out.

    im yhaving issues myself im trying to buy the origional sunny 7 base and adding  the promocode and saying it doesnt work is anyone elese having this issue

    ^Pretty sure the coupon expired at 23:59 Daz time on the 13th (about 40 minutes ago as of this post)

    Edit: although the banner is still showing for me, it says valid until 11:59pm Aug 13th.
