Huh, so you CAN use G3/G8 with Substance Painter.

    Here's G8F, rocking something I worked up...

    Nice I like that

Might as well toss this in here too since it came out pretty nice looking.

Here's a render of Olympia 8 that i did on wear the wrong uniform to work day.  All of the lighting in this scene is emmissive shaders.

Wow! That is so unique and cool looking!

Sort of split between doing aliens or faerie. Given the wing idea, faerie is tipping the scales. (Though of course nothing stops someone from mix and match)

I've been having a lot of fun working with G8F and G3 shape morphs. This is a series of images featuring G8F with my Girl 7 morph and the Girl 7 materials converted to base female UVs with Map Transfer. This is one of those times when the figure dictates the scene. What started out as a cute shot of G7 on the sofa ended up a 5 image series set in photo studio complete with photographer and camera, one of which is hosted on DA because of nudity! Yes. The Girl. In the buff!

For the final image, a nude variation of The Girl sitting on the sofa, Click here. (Link opens in a new window. The image is behind the Mature Content filter.)

I'm really impressed with just how well these morphs are working. Between all the G3F materials, the Legacy UV's product for G8F, and the ability to create my own shape morphs. there is very little I must buy specific to G8F to use her... Shoes, for example. lol

Something different from the perfect pinup models

...finally.  I love her.  So much more "real".

With a bit of shaping and dragon-fly wings you could make a Joe Quick style damsel fly and dragon fly couple. Ugh! Now I want to try that but alas I'm trying to learn animation in Cararra. I'd buy it though (probably).

Finished an old WIP. This render features the most heavy postwork I've ever done.

...love the old scratched film look and the vignetting

Those are nice. They remind of, I think her name is 'Jean Harlow'.

    Thank you.

While working with her and these scenes, I definitely got the old movies/pin up vibe. It was fun working with a non-realistic character, too.

I hope you are talking about the bridge set itself and not the render, because I have not uploaded this render to the gallery yet.

Cleaned up the opacity map and figured out how to get the sheen effect I was going for (also determined that it works better if I shut off firefly filter, amusingly enough)

Does it render faster without the firefly filter? I'm off to start on my Blender book now since I can't resolve the laggy viewport problem I have in Carrara. frown

I don't know, but I THINK the firefly filter tends to kill the iridescence effect I'm trying to get.

Actually water, oil, glass, and lots of other things should render more realistically if the Firefly Filter doing what you think it's doing.

Try turning it back on but lower the Nominal Luminance, I have mine set at 100 for nearly all my renders. I find that it also stops the Firefly Filter from cleaning up the Bloom Filter as, I think, it sees the bright pixels as fireflies and kills them. I have also noticed that you can target lights in a render to bloom by varying the Nominal Luminance. I haven't experimented with this as I don't use the Bloom Filter a lot but on the renders I have done it seems to work.

I am rendering now with firefly turned off and I can see while there are more 'light dots' in the eyes than usual the eyes in color and shading look much better than usual. I think I will try and add enough render time to get rid of the light dots, which I think are 'fireflies', if my usual render time doesn't do it be the end of the rendering. I didn't expect the improvement to be so visible.

    ...cute.

Reminds me of a flat mate way back when in college who porported to be this ultimate fitness geek  He even wore a green running suit not  too different than the one in the pic.  It wasn't rare that I'd see him maybe 15 min later at the student union snack bar with a pitcher of beer on the table and a glass (back then Wisconsin was an 18 year old state and you could get tap beer on campus).  Yeah, those "8 oz curls" and flirting with the passing ladies must have been a real workout.
