This was my take on it as well, the extra 30% for PC+ members would only be for one week. There's too many good items in the bundle, for example, that work just as well without Morpheus for them to only be available for one week.

I actually took it to mean the Morpheusette Bundle will be showing up tomorrow (Monday) or next Saturday but I'm guessing. Hope if they do make her it's a similar type bundle with work, spy, and heroine clothing.
Throw in the bonus discount and you've got a deal!

Yeah I'm thinking the female version will show up next month .....kinda like the timing of the Centuar7's
That is a really good point. With the PC+ coupon the bundle works out to be about 12 bucks. I wasn't going to get it, but thanks to your picture with Morpheus dialed low, and an idea I had for some promo pics, I figured at that price, what the heck.
If a female version does show up, here's hoping she's called Trinity...
What clothes and hair used here in Promos?? Any Idea about lighting?
The shorts are 'Run With It Outfitfor Genesis 3 Male' I think
https://www.daz3d.com/run-with-it-outfit-for-genesis-3-male-s
The lighting I think 'Ultra Genesis Studio vol 1 IRay Box Lights' (there are a couple of directly overhead lights in that set)

on fb someone asked if he can wear other g3 clothes my tests so far yes he does and pretty well too even helmets like galactic armor reshapes itself to fit well and for creature creators his morphs combined with others adds fair bit extra
Wow, I never even thought about the Creature stuff -- that opens up a whole new world of toony monsters -- absolutely awesome! Because of the more extreme tooniness, these look much better than just dialing in, say, Girl or Guy.
Thanks for the idea and picts, much appreciated!

Pulled his nose out a bit with a D-Former to be a little more "Gru" like
Here's the current run down of what the 5 main toons in the set are most likely based on. Please chime in if you want to help narrow it down.
Promo Pic 1 = similar to Mr Incredible (The Incredibles)
Promo Pic 2 = similar to Dr Gru (Despicable Me)
Promo Pic 3 = similar to Syndrome? (The Incredibles)
Promo Pic 4 = Aardman Style (Wallace and Grommet)?
Promo Pic 5 = Maybe the mayor from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs?
Thanks nonesuch00, any ides about the hairs?
I jumped all over this. Even though I don't do toons that much, I love the versatility and you can't beat the price. Diva, your couple is adorable!
cool, yeah I try to think outside the box looking at charcters that I don't normally use/suit my style of renders and what they can offer and some characters you need something different to make unique ones Corey 6 is another he's perfect with various morphs for those weird unusual characters such as an assistant for Dracula or Frankenstein, or a troll or some other unusual charcter is needed whch using a normal realistic one just doesn't really work
He looks great! Loving the Gru look. I haven't even had a chance to download him yet, but had to pick him up for the price. Used the coupon and was happy to get the bundle for $12. With everything in there, it's a steal. I'm glad to see the clothing and creature creator add-ons work well for him too. Lots of fun to be had!
Dumb question... but do y'all render toons with 3Delight or Iray?
The hairs are
Toon Com Over Hair
https://www.daz3d.com/toon-comb-over-hair
and
Toon Generations 2 Essentials for Genesis 3
https://www.daz3d.com/toon-generations-2-essentials-for-genesis-3
I render in iRay but there are presets that come with these toon products for iRay & 3DL. It is easier to switch back & forth on toon with 3DL and iRay too if you like.
Man. It's tempting with that kind of sale price.
Weird question, has anyone transferred the morphs to earlier generations with decent results?
I render exclusively in Iray. Waiting for CPU rendeing sucks.
Well I did transfer the ToonGeneration2 back to Genesis 2 and Genesis ,and had little to no problems with it ,so Morpheous should do fine ...... maybe I'll try that later
For a long time I used PWToon and similar in 3DL when I wanted to do, well, non photorealistic stuff.
Nowadays I use Iray, because it's faster, and then LineRender9000 to get good toonish lines.
Note: If you want really fast Iray renders even without GPU and whatnot and you're doing toon stuff... erase maps. Doing Toon Iray, I usually only have to put in a map for the face and eyebrows, and then a toon iris, and that's it.
Decided it was too good to pass up. YOINK.
I figure that given it's not really a HD thing, transferring it to prior generations SHOULD work decently. And if nothing else, some of the outfits and hair would be useful for NPR stuff in other generations, too
Yea this is a great toon figure! I too am interested in a female version!
Transferred (GenX2) to Genesis with no problems, so I'm thrilled!
(The Royal Punk tie got warped all to heck, but that's not a surprise)
You can get toon like renders with Iray? And the toon lines?
Well, the secret in Iray is, first, skipping all the translucency and volume effects because it's basically wasted. Second, flat lighting. Third, good postwork to flatten/simplify it further. It can be tricky in larger complex spaces, but ghost lights are great at basically filling areas with even light.
For the lines, I've found no better tool than LineRender9000; it uses 3DL, but I rely on ColorID and don't have to worry about how it looks in 3DL.
The only trick with doing Iray color/LR9K lines is to avoid using displacement, because that is handled differently between Iray and 3DL and will cause stuff not to line up.
For example, in the above, I used an even gray environmental map, used the Headcamera light (which is normally ill advised for flattening images, but...). Then I pulled it into FilterForge and went with comic style+weirdness, which created a look I liked, then into Photoshop with Oil Filter at a very minimal level to clean up the image a bit. There were some weird black specs, healbrush eliminated those.
If I had wanted a more 'lined' look I could have used LR9K, but this was a quick thing. All told it took me probably 10, 15 minutes (5 minute render, experimenting with a few things, etc; not including actually creating/posing the scene)
Thanks for the reminder on removing the maps. By the way the Morpheus combines really well with the DAZ Body & DAZ Head morphs and DAZ Expression set.
