@nemesis 10.  I think it's because it's a cold sore on the lips of Daz that always gets buttered up with ointment, as it did here. Feel the hate, the point of my discussion was to make Daz better for newcomers and I knew in my gut that GnotMe was going to endure the same reception so I decided to save her that fate. Every new user gets kicked to the curb when this topic arises and it is wrong. Simply wrong. And members respond as if they have stakes in whether this person stays or leaves and that is wrong too.

    Edit: or him

I'd be happy to have Instructions in the read Me's not just flies....don't just assume a buyer knows how to use a light set/shader or whatever..some Vendors are great and supply PDF or Video but just as many don't !
Of course you can come here and ask questions but I'm sick of just hoping and waiting for someone to answer and then trying someones patience with more prying questions, just please give us, Step 1/Step 2 and don't assume all Buyers are advanced users of Daz.

I repectfully disagree to some extent. I do appreciate that there is a problem for some people, and that these people get frustrated that everyone isn't prioritizing the problem first. For me, considering that 3d rendeting is a craft as well as an art.  One of the first rules in a craft is to know your tools. Things like rendering and light a scene aren't intutive so even that novice to Daz Studio has to work (and read intelligently) to learn how to render.  This seems like a case of Shopping 101; you read the description before you buy... What i'm not seeing are examples where the description claims something is there and it isn't. I may be wrong but my impression is most of those people who are having an issue are just looking at a name and a picture and then clicking rather than reading the description>  That Feel The Hate thread doesn't make me feel more more sanguine that there is any explanation, no matter how rational, that will say people to consider that any other option will work hence the thread goes in circles as they plug their ears and say you don't listen to me.

Thank you to everyone who left feedback on the topic as to what they would like to see on store pages as well as in readmes. We appreciate the feedback. That said, at this time we feel the conversation keeps devolving into personal attacks and for that reason we have decided to lock the thread.

I will however forward on your thoughts on what additional information you would like to see to Daz 3D.

We would like to remind everyone that, while we have forwarded your concerns, we need everyone to be mindful that these are user-to-user forums and that to have your concerns considered, you need to send them to Daz through the ticket system.
