They don't change everyday. It looks like the freebie is the same as yesterday, Electronic Tools, and if you already have it, then the space will show up blank.

Probably it is the same as yesterday and since you allready have it it is not shown

FYI: I created a video with a quick explanation of this years March Madness

Maybe I'm wrong, but I was thinking a new freebie was released every other day. It's probably blank because we already have the current one.

Yeah, it still lists the Electronics Tools as the freebie.

even without the banner, from time to time, just display the list of daz products, sorted by price low-high. free are the first ones. (default sorting: new)

The March Madness Bonus freebies do not show up as free in the store. They only become free when you put them in the cart.

A bunch of things I had sitting in my cart just shot way up in price.

Were they stuff from fastgrab? That changed in the past couple of minutes.

  • This may be a little off topic but... several of you guys are very clever, and maybe you can help me. I have zillions of products and can't even remember what I have. I would love to be able to print out one sheets of the products that have the main pic plus the name, vendor, etc., so that I can keep a folder for reference and inspiration. Currently, when I try to print a product page (to pdf), I get several pages with things all spread out. Any ideas?   (Thanks!)

Looks like the free Electronic Tools ate my Monthly Coupon (the subtotal/discount matches its price) - I guess I expected the coupon to be deactivated with only freebies in the cart, but apparently not with that one. Have filed a ticket about it.

I'm mostly paperless, and don't have the items printed out. What I do is go to the Daz store, and choose to only display my owned items. Or if I'm only interested in, say indoor scenes, then I go to the indoor category, and only display owned items there. Then I can flip through all of them: see the main thumbnail, and the product name. This method doesn't list the artist though.

How do you display only items you own??? I've been wanting to do that but never knew there was a way...

I've just noticed that Carefree Hair for G3F - a PC+ item - is also a MM new release. PC+ members get their normal discount on it if bought alone, and an extra 17% off if they buy another MM item. I assume non-PC+ members get regular MM terms. Accordingly, I've revised my table of discounts to include new MM PC+ releases:

    March Madness Discounts PC+ Items[1] non-Daz Originals Daz Originals[1]
    New[2] Normal Old[3] New[2] Normal Old[3] New[2] Normal Old[3]
    Normal Customer MM Item[4] 1 item[5] 0%[6] N/A N/A 40% 40% 40% 58% 58% 58%
    2+ items[5] 17%[6] N/A N/A 50% 50% 50% 65% 65% 65%
    Other Item 0%[6] 0%[6] 0%[6] 0% 0% 0% 30% 30% 30%
    Bonus Buyer[7] MM Item[4] 1 item[5] 10%[6] N/A N/A 46% 46% 58% 62% 62% 71%
    2+ items[5] 25%[6] N/A N/A 55% 55% 65% 69% 69% 76%
    Other Item 10%[6] 10%[6] 30%[6] 10% 10% 30% 37% 37% 51%

The blue-shaded rows indicate the discounts shown up front in the store.

    Notes

    1. Discount available to PC+ members only. Non-members should apply the "non-Daz Original" discount instead.
    2. "New" items are items which were released in the last 6 weeks, and have a "new" icon in the shop. New MM items (see below) are Newly Mad and Still Mad items.
    3. "Old" items are items with a SKU less than 16000 (before appoximately March/April 2013, but som later releases have lower SKUs and some earlier releases have higher ones), or items by RuntimeDNA.
    4. "MM Items" are Newly Mad, Still Mad, Featured Artists' Catalogues (barring new and PC+ items) or Associated Items.
    5. The number of MM items simultaneously in the cart at the time of checkout. Items do not need to all be of the same type, nor does any have to be new - e.g. you could buy one "related item" and one "artist's catalogue" item to trigger the 50% discount.
    6. Discount is in addition to the substantial discount offered to PC+ members on PC+ items.
    7. Customers become a "Bonus Buyer" on purchase of any non-free item from the store. The discount applies to subsequent purchases for the next few days.

There's this feature in the new version of the addon:

I had my daughter help me take a screenshot of the promo page for each product, its info page, insert the name of the product in "real" text, then divide the products into Word documents, such as Props, V4 Clothing, G2F Clothing, etc. I can page through them to remember what I have or search them, since the name of the product is there.

I also use DIM to hunt for things, pull up info, etc. Now the DAZ-Deal browser extension lets us display what we own in each category, so I think I'll be using that a lot also. I tried a couple of products from the store that supposedly help you do this, but they were essentially worthless.

Is there an equivalent little HTML link that we can use as a bookmark / favorite?

Bumbling away on IE11 here, and addons don't play.

Thanks. That resulted in zero items listed.

    #filter_me+interwebs=fail :-D

  • It's nice to see the Elven archer gear and its Bundle in Fastgrab, but I'm really just looking for the swordsman version.

  • Hoping there will be more V4 & M4 stuff in the sales as I only seem to be seeing predominantly Genesis products smiley

Well I had some other items in the cart which I wanted to use the coupon for but I could see the discount was also applied to the freebies, reducing the discount for the other items. So I deleted everything except the freebies so I could create separate orders for the freebies and the other items, but the coupon apparently remained active anyway instead of being disabled automatically as it normally does when there's no items it applies to.

If you're using Windows this one will catalog all your DAZ items automatically:

@Taozen Thanks for the reminder, I forgot you had one for DAZ. Your RDNA version was very helpful.

When will your Rendo version be available? Looking forward to it!

You should contact customer service and expain what happened. They may be able to give you credit for it.

For future reference, as you have discovered, you have to click the blue 'cancel coupon' button; otherwise if there is something the coupon can be applied to (in this case probably Electronics Tools) it will be used even if the item is free.

Cool! I hadn't seen that version. I'll have to try it, since it's so handy to be able to look through the pictures when you're trying to find something or remember... Too much content!
