Either someone stuck a snail in my DSL modem, or I'm competing with a whole lot of folks to download Elijah.

  • Oh noooo. Here's hopes for speedy downloading so you can tinker with our new beautiful boy!

It's getting better now; must have been a snail gumming up the inner working of the DSL line and he's been flushed out now.

  • Definitely my favourite male. I do love pretty boys though. *_*

I was pretty impressed with his products. Lovelovelove Heath Hair, and although some outfits are a bit hipster-ish, they look pretty good. I even like the Highlander Outfit (especially the Green add-on texture). I can definitely repurpose it for fantasy outfits.

The Millenial Business Outfit main promo reminds me of Q from the lastest Bond movies. (Ben Wishaw. Thanks IMDB :p)

The only thing that makes me LOL is the Noel Fielding hair. It's all I can see XD

  • A truly amazing character, nice discount, and very usable bundle contents. I was not intending to purchase anything today, but this leapt into my cart.

Thank you Daz and the participating PA's that made this such a wonderful pro bundle, and an instant purchase.

    Very nice posted renders too.

    smiley

Elijah 7 is one tall, skinny drink of water. He's 6'5"!! I don't go for the Goth makeup or clothes. I only like one of the outfits in the Pro bundle.

I love him so much! Thank you forever, DAZ!

Well, we've finally got a Mick Jagger figure.    Great render!

  • Thank you for the deep discount on Elijah.  I'm finding him to have great potential.  The leaness and the youth opens up a new volume of stories.  Thanks!

    Look at this perfection!

I NEVER use out-of-the-box people. Except now. Because he's perfect. Ugh. I love him SO MUCH!

Wow ...he's awesome! I'm so jealous of those who have him.

  • I guess that's the sucky part about these customized discounts... mine is only an extra 20% and I read that some people are getting the pro bundle for $19... whereas mine is... expensive. BUT! I love him! He's gorgeous and every book boyfriend I want him to be!! Now, I'm off to scrape together some extra $$ to figure out how to get him.

The boy next door,  not the boy you all admired out on the rugby field (or whatever was your fave sport)

What if you lived next door to the boy you admired out on the rugby field, hmmm? And what if he just happened to be out on the rugby field chasing a butterfly, and you admired him for his skill in making working scale-model trebuchet?

Really don't think this has been thought through at all... cheeky

Only if it is a FULL scale model will I be duly impressed. devil

was not a big fan of him.  I like my guys to look like guys and my girls to like like girls..... and he looks a bit girly to me, but for $0.61 the pro bundle went into the cart.  I am sure I can find some use for him and the gene pool.  Some of the test renders i have done are nice.  He might be a good buy after all, not sure about the make-up though.  But Thank You DAZ for the deal.  These are great.  Good way to show love to customers.

I addressed the weird UV issue with the Highlander kilt..  also made a morph to level out the hem, the front is very low by default and makes even a nice straight UV mapping look off.

Just drop this in your content and you'll have the extra morph and the alternate UV show up when you load the kilt.  It's designed to take seamless tiles without showing seams (with the exception of the leather belt part, that still has a seam in the back but at least it's straight now).  There is a seam on the UV on the top portion by his left hip (had to be there to keep the scale consistant across the whole thing), if you keep your tiling repeats even numbers (2,4,6 etc) you won't get a visible seam there, if you use an odd number you might depending on your fabric tile's pattern.

So, load the kilt, apply the shader or fabric tile you want, then in the surface tab change the UV set to "Seamless_Tiling" for all the material zones.  (The buckle doesn't need to be changed if you don't want, it was fine).  If you want to try a different shader you'll need to change the UV set again after 'cause it will most likely reset it to default.

I ended up getting pro bundle for $20 and change. orange banner and my pc+ coupon. I wasn't sure about him until I got to one of the pose packs . Put blonde hair on him and he's a dead ringer for my nephew, 6 foot three and a junior in college. And I've got a use for the goth look. I read a wonderful fantasy novel (the name will come to me by tomorrow I'm sure) which features a really hunky goth guy and a very straightlaced girl who's totally crushing on him but heard he plays the field so she's being cool. Yeah that's not much fantasy, but that's right up until the king of the fairies decides that the girl is his long-lost queen and starts pursuing her.

Here's the template, it's overlapped (again to keep scale consistant).

Thank you very much, Fisty. You're generosity is much appreciated.

Hmmm. People are definitely seeing different prices then. Are you folks looking at the final price, not just the line item price? (meaning, look at the bottom right hand corner total.)  When I just tested it, the line item was one thing, the final total another. It's still doing it, too.

you'll hate me but it's only tiny weeny itzy bitzy polka dot bikini small change for me if I use my coupon

I almost didn't buy the Highlander kit because of that very issue.  Thanks!

I only had 30% and really didn't like much so just got the character and one hair (nice it's for both G3M AND G3F).  I do think it will be a versatile character.  My first test, still a little grainy, but he'll be useful for sure.  Quite realistic imo.
