Hmmm. People are definitely seeing different prices then. Are you folks looking at the final price, not just the line item price? (meaning, look at the bottom right hand corner total.)  When I just tested it, the line item was one thing, the final total another. It's still doing it, too.

you'll hate me but it's only tiny weeny itzy bitzy polka dot bikini small change for me if I use my coupon

Rubbing salt in - aren't you sweet...

:) I'm sure you'll get me back with a better deal than me on something else :)

Elijah (the unmade-up version) looks just like my best friend's son and is even around the same height and build. Spooky. I haven't decided whether to buy him yet and the chances are that I won't (there's only so much you can do in the way of racy romantic scenes with an uncanny digital likeness of a guy you've known since he was a baby before it starts to feel a bit 'icky'!) but I wanted to thank Fisty for the work done on the Highlander outfit. It would be a bit unkind to say what I originally thought of it, especially since it's shortcomings have already been mentioned elsewhere on the thread, but it now sits in my runtime purely as a result of the Fisty modifications :)

Very nice — I'm very grateful, thanks DAZ.

I addressed the weird UV issue with the Highlander kilt..  also made a morph to level out the hem, the front is very low by default and makes even a nice straight UV mapping look off.

Just drop this in your content and you'll have the extra morph and the alternate UV show up when you load the kilt.  It's designed to take seamless tiles without showing seams (with the exception of the leather belt part, that still has a seam in the back but at least it's straight now).  There is a seam on the UV on the top portion by his left hip (had to be there to keep the scale consistant across the whole thing), if you keep your tiling repeats even numbers (2,4,6 etc) you won't get a visible seam there, if you use an odd number you might depending on your fabric tile's pattern.

So, load the kilt, apply the shader or fabric tile you want, then in the surface tab change the UV set to "Seamless_Tiling" for all the material zones.  (The buckle doesn't need to be changed if you don't want, it was fine).  If you want to try a different shader you'll need to change the UV set again after 'cause it will most likely reset it to default.

Will this also be an update in DIM?

Since Fisty is not the creator of this outfit, probably not.

Not unless Bobby or Daz wants to add it (which is fine by me).

Great render! Kind of reminds me of a young Mick Jagger here! Can't wait to do some rocker dude images of him.

Thank you so much for doing this @Fisty - that's brilliant!

  • I ended up getting pro bundle for $20 and change. orange banner and my pc+ coupon. I wasn't sure about him until I got to one of the pose packs . Put blonde hair on him and he's a dead ringer for my nephew, 6 foot three and a junior in college. And I've got a use for the goth look. I read a wonderful fantasy novel (the name will come to me by tomorrow I'm sure) which features a really hunky goth guy and a very straightlaced girl who's totally crushing on him but heard he plays the field so she's being cool. Yeah that's not much fantasy, but that's right up until the king of the fairies decides that the girl is his long-lost queen and starts pursuing her.

    Wicked Lovely :-)

THAT'S IT!!  Aren't there some seriously cool fae in that series?  Every other page there's another inspiration for a character or scene.  So many ideas... so little time...

Oh and here's my first render of Elijah (pre-the altered UVs)  Thank you DAZ for the great banner offer (I have most of the G3M Pro Bundles, so a good offer for me)

was not a big fan of him.  I like my guys to look like guys and my girls to like like girls..... and he looks a bit girly to me, but for $0.61 the pro bundle went into the cart.  I am sure I can find some use for him and the gene pool.  Some of the test renders i have done are nice.  He might be a good buy after all, not sure about the make-up though.  But Thank You DAZ for the deal.  These are great.  Good way to show love to customers.

WOW!!  DAZ must really love you... laugh

  • Does anybody know what the hair on the main promo image is?  I found a couple that stick up on top but are clean-cut around the ear.

  • What a terrific offer. Thanks v. much, DAZ.

I agree!!  Thank you DAZ and PAs.  The Pro bundle flew into my cart.  Now I just need some render time...

Yep, saw the orange banner for the 90% discount just now hours after I already bought him! XD

Now sit back and watch him "not sell well" because of it...

I think you can return him.  Coupons are good for a couple of days. And I use the word "return" loosely.  Just talk to customer service - they'll make it right.

Does anyone kTnow what the mesh shirt is from in the Ekko promos?

It is the Renegade shirt.  http://www.daz3d.com/renegade-for-genesis-3-male-s

I used black as the diffuse color and made this transmap and plugged it in. You are welcome to it :)

    Thanks a lot.
What program do i  need to create an other texture for clothes?
In earlier times there was always the template on the website to download.
Where can i find the current templates for the clothes and how do i edit them?
Is it only possible in Photoshop?

    Thanks

  • Is it just me, or does he remind anyone of David 3? Mostly its the face. And its not a bad thing.

Looks a bit like David3, the figure, i love most (see my gallery)

I picked up the bundle for the content and skins. I don't really care for Elijah. He looks strange to me, Kind of toony in the face, but the content is good and I Can't beat the price.

It's nice to have variety in our DAZ people. After all, not everyone is short, fat, tall, skinny, etc. Welcome, Elijah!

This is a combination of Elijah and Ekko morphs.

The lighting and background are 032-house-living from Aversis.
