    LOL .... HHHMMMMMM ... I may have heard that a time or two as a kid while travelling. Have you thought of a boot that is taller with the same heel morphs as the Treadz? Something that goes up to just below the knee? Bad Kitten made these for V4 a ways back but still a favorite of mine. I know its a little late for the Treadz but maybe a future set of boots or maybe a taller morph? I love the Treadz for heroine boots and it seems more reasonable to give them a taller heel when they aren't trying to balance on a point the size of a pencil. 

    There is a KneeHigh morph that goes up to almost to the knee.  You could run it past 100% and use the adjustment morphs for an even higher look.

    Yep, this was a big change I did with the Genesis version.  You can also do a type of shoes, guess I will need to do a better job of marketing. wink

     

    OK I don't remember that being on the V4 version, if it already has it then please disregard, you are a step ahead of me there. I only have one more question for you. Do I just mail my credit card to you or will you take direct paypal deposits? laugh

    It wasn't in the V4 version, just the Genesis one and paypal is fine wink

    WHAA!? Oy - these are the most amazing boots I've ever seen here! One would literally never have to buy another pair of boots ..like ever. lol With this one boot it looks like (between mixing and matching the heel styles as well as the boot style/height) there are a crazy amount of possibilities to create wildly different boots. Mix in a few different shader options that take advantage of the MANY mat zones and it sounds like there are an insane amount of variations possible with this boot. I hope you're able to market it so that people can see how massively diverse these boots are! People are literally getting like a TON of different boots in one. 

    I do try to make things versatile.  There are also toe shaping morphs (see attached) and don't forget ForbiddenWhispers textures  smiley

    I've never been this excited over the release of a wearable. These sound (and look) amazing! I can't wait!

    So these are only for G2? Will there be a version for G3? :) (not that I mind, I'm sure autofit will work ok)

    I am finishing up a G3 version (male and female).  Autofit works okay and probably well enough for some people.  However the morphs (both character and joint control) don't always look right to me and the weight maps need work.  You can get some crunching of the mesh which is really noticable in the laces, buckles and straps where the foot bends.  Plus the toes never look right and smoothing won't take care of it.  When I do the conversion I adjust the model to fit the new figure then hand make the character morphs plus repaint the weight maps.  I think autofit can work well for some clothing but I have never been happy with it when it comes to shoes.

I really want to thank you for putting projects on hold to do this, you have gone far beyond any expectatation I had when I posted the original post.

    Not really, my credit card has been so over-used here that it's floppy and limp. It might give you a paper cut tho. :D :D

    Yep, I'm already counting on getting this (as long as it's not TOO pricey). It might even be the first item I pay full price for - as I doubt I'll have the patience to wait around for it to be on sale. These boots are going to be a must have. :)

    Any word on a release date yet? I have my credit card cornered and don't know how much longer I can keep it in the corner ... its starting to look at me funny and licking its lips.

    With the included morphs you can make them any size you want ;)

    Your are welcome!  I started making a texture pack but didn't have time to finish it, particularly with trying to make 3Delight and Iray presets.  So as I get time I will be release some of the ones I started and I will post them to that freebie thread.

    Man you don't even know.  I have this armor that I started in 2006 for V4 sitting on my hard drive!  Even got it out and started a Genesis conversion a while back.   Oh well, someday.
