    I realize now why I had such trouble with my new phone.  I didn't have the freak'n manual!  I had a half dozen other booklets, and papers but no freak'n manual angry  Today I found the manual on the web (Google is my friend) and lo and behold it describes how the damn thing works.  surprise  It all makes a lot more sense now.  Why didn't they include the manual in the box instead of a "quick" guide?   Grrrrrrr....  We're not all that "quick".

    Basically, a group of people who are judge, jury and exectutioners.  Well, maybe they leave that last part to someone else.  Can't get their hands dirty.

    Of course, there are tribunals that don't judge a person, but make decisions on important matters.  I suppose.

    Game launcher hangs while it is installing a patch.  I wonder if my RAM modules are bad?  Other games play fine though.  Hmm.  Scandisk did not find any disk errors.  I shouldn't do any rendering until I figure out what is going on with my computer.  I already reinsalled Windows 8 a few months ago.

    Bad habit!  The "s" is for secure!  In my opinion, everything should be in https mode.  Actually, that's not just my opinion, either.

    Back in the day... (about two decades ago) I was evaluating this new idea called "IPv6" to replace the two decade old IPv4.  At that time, the newer protocol proposed supporting end-to-end encryption through all devices for all communication.  I thought it was a good idea back then but there was a lot of flack from spy people who didn't want to not be able to peek at your conversations.  So here we are two decades later and IPv6 is still the stranger at the door we can't quite bring ourselves to invite it in.  Yeah, yeah, I know big inter-networks use it but it's never worked its way down to the consumer in any big way.

    I am trying to repair the game.  I wonder if the repair program will download 20+ GB of data to fix the game.  I don't want interrupt the repair process to do anything intenesive with the CPU or wireless adapter.

    I guess I'll go look at some renders of Aiko 7 now.
