...no.  It is on the shore of Lake Michigan though it has a couple rivers that go through the centre of the city as well.

Looks like a shot from Futurama.

There is a  section called Jones Island however it is more of a peninsula than an actual island.  For years it served as a major fuel terminal as well as home for the city's main sewage plant. Just to the north across the inlet to the Milwaukee river is old Maitland Field, once a downtown airport that in the 1950s became a Nike missile site.  The missiles were there until 1969.  The old airfield is now a park  that hosts the annual MIlwaukee Summerfest.

    The Nike Missile site

As the current Maier Festival Park

are London and Paris on islands?

theres the Seine and the Thames.  h is silent i think

lookin up Prague, Vienna, and Budapest, iirc, lotsa waterways in those cities.

London is on an Island,  the Island is called Great Britain.

The Thames is a river.   It flows through London.

    thanks!!

power station, seeing a ferris wheel symbol

That's cos London is powered directly from the river - huuuuge water turbines.

    Kidding.

It's a ferris wheel, called the London Eye. Its where all the new years fireworks are.

I know I'm being pedantic but the "London Eye" is not exactly a "Ferris wheel" as designed by CWG Ferris (supported on both sides).  It's a "cantilever" wheel (supported on one side only).

CWG Ferris designed & built the original "Ferris" wheel in 1893 for the Chicago Exposition.

I think the cantilever wheels are much more impressive technically. cheeky

    CWG Ferris: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferris_wheel

But everybody knows what you're talking about when you say "Ferris wheel".  Or when you say "Kleenix" or "Ketchup"

Agreed.   I quote from this site  https://www.visitbritainshop.com/world/articles/10-things-you-didnt-know-about-the-london-eye/

    1. The London Eye is not a Ferris wheel. It’s the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel

Morning. Someone is ranting into a megaphone a little after dawn about something somewhere down the block, voice is so distorted and wind tossed is almosr like timeless percussion :)

True, but if you say it's a "cantilevered observation wheel", 9 times out of 10* people will say, "Huh?"

Melkezyk - Wyrm of the Lowlands~  Whipped up this new dragon OC for myself, sketchy but I’m happy with it <3

Well, except the upper wings. There shouldn’t be indents on that honestly - makes it look like it’s the underside instead of the topside.

I must be pretty tired right now, since I mis-read your post as saying "Jaggi joint aches"  and not "naggie"  x'D

I just noticed a rather silly mistake in my picture I posted.  I was working on that at 4 in the morning so I guess that explains it.... But that human is apparently nine feet tall in the pic :B

I'll have to fix that tomorrow ><

The download and installation of 30 GB of game data took 9 hours in case anyone was wondering.  The process would have been faster if my computer was connected to the router with an ethernet cable.

I had another comment but I forgot what it was.  Maybe I'm too sleepy now.

...yeah went out had a couple pints and a great Bloody Mary at this one neighbourhood pub (only 3$ and both spicy and strong).  Came home, made dinner, and the brain is totally starved of oxygen.
