ROTFL!
Thank you for the kind words.
Thanks! I've just been parenting for years, never even thought to try that. Much appreciated.

Is anyone else having problems with the Cookie and Chip sale? Half the items I put in my cart aren't discounting and they go to a 404 page when I click on them. Yet, when I put them in my cart, I know there was a product page available.
I can't find the hair that's in the promo for the Endeavor outfit: http://www.daz3d.com/endeavor, I like the outfit beacause it's obviously inspired by Lara Croft, but I need the hair to go with it.
Which products so we can report them? Try and give me links please.
Okay, so sometime between when I posted and when I read your message and went back prepared to post all of the links, the sale got fixed! <faceplant> I'm now showing a discount on all of the items that weren't showing one before!
If this goes anything like the Deep Freeze migration there will probably be additional C+C items coming into the store in waves. So if you don't see something now, you might later.
Mind you, that's "might". C+C are very popular characters and not all their stuff is/was on RDNA. There are also loads of freebies for them out and about. Treasure Chest and KCTC are good ones to check first.
When I'm looking for something, or trying to remember the name or where it is, my first reaction is to PM Kerya. LOL. I don't tho, cos she'd probably try and ban me and put me on ignore for all the spam. So then I post in the forum and then sit back and wait till she sees it and can answer it.
*giggles*
Well, I ended up spending more than planned, but I have a nice variety of Chip and Cookie stuff now other than just the bases and one outfit! I guess now I really have to do something with them! And why do we have NO images of Chip or Cookie in this thread?! other than the one in the OP?
I was going to work on some stuff! But I didn't know if anyone was that interested since I hadn't seen anything else and so I stuck to finishing off my current project first v.v But I really want to make some things for them because I think they're such great figures.
I'm annoyed that I spent all of my budget on the bits that I bought because it means I can't buy moooore bits for them xD
Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I'd be interested. One thing I did buy was the merchant resource kit for Cookie. Since they have the same body shape, I'm assuming I can also use them for Chip. I'd like to see about making some stuff for them, too, as I have a couple of ideas. I'm going to see about doing some renders soon, but, yeah, I had some other renders I'm trying to finish up before I start a new project.
welp, i was going to do a quick render of Cookie...but for some reason, her hair doesn't fit her properly! Can't have her bald now, can i? So gotta figure that out first.
edit: User Error. LOL. I didn't see the "bangs" for the hair. Thought the hair didn't fit, but I didn't realize you add the bangs/fringe separately.
I believe it was a hair set from 3DZone, but I can neither find it in the old RDNA store anymore or her store that used to be here at Daz. Both stores are now gone. I am not sure if it is available anymore, as it is an old set and the promos were made when it was still available. You could try and use http://www.daz3d.com/cookie-mix-and-match-long-braid instead. I know it is not the same cool look but it is as close as I can find to the original hair pieces.
Good question, here's some samples I did just after they came out; they were my main charactes for years for everything from Science Fiction, Superheroes, Fantasy, Horror and pretty much anything else. I found they work really well with other Toonish characters too (Crystal as the Black Queen is the villain of one of these pieces).

Cookie hair fix.
This was presented over at RuntimeDNA. Cookie was not designed for Studio. Poser users don't have this issue.
1) Click on the hair in the scene tab.
2) go to the Parameters tab and click on the "Hamburger' (the three line thingy with the arrow) and then click on "Show Hidden Properties"
3) scroll down to DForm
4) turn 100% to 0%.
Now the hair conforms.
Go back to clicking on Show HIdden Properties or all your products will be showing you things you've never seen before, and don't really need to see.
Second. I tried to make Cookie work for the Powerpose plugin, Everything about her works fine but her eye's. It's like when her eyes were made one of them was inverted and the positioning was inverted and twisted. I'm strill tring to find a work around and hope to have it updated here soon.
You're correct, she had three sets (Pretty Hair Braid, Pretty Hair Twist and Pretty Hair Base) at RDNA; her store is still here at DAZ, though, you have to use her full name (don't forget the "the"): http://www.daz3d.com/the3dzone. She also has items scattered about the web (eg. Poser Addicts), and her main site is still sort of there, but it's been fairly inactive of late (and I think her store's shut down). You might try contacting her though her site.

Here you go :) a Cookie Image for everyone :)
The Chip "Obi-Wan-Kenobi" used i the new ads, where can you get the clothes to make that, I see the beard files, Just want to spend me some money!!
Oh, a Powerpose template for Cookie would be awesome! You would be my hero! Especially, if you manage to find a fix for whatever the problem with Star!'s hand is, too. Love the work you are doing to keep Powerpose updated.
I love the images, everyone! If my computer ever finishes its current render, I'll be testing out the stuff I bought in the sale.
Love Cookie and Chip! But for some reason I saved more renders of Sadie and Sam. Anyway, some oldies still around. The neon-ish one is a free Cookie texture you can find here -- I love the grubby little hands and feet.
And sometimes it's useful to use Cookie and Chip's heads on other figures. One of the image shows the heads on A4 and H4 bodies.
To fix Star to work with Powerpose, would requre a renameing of the hands...it's simple process to update. Currently the nameing sequence of the hands causes Poserpose to completely ignore the hand. V2, V3, V4, Genesis and newer don't use this nameing format, but Star does. I stated the problem in the RuntimeDNA forum months ago, but was ignored, maybe we'll see a change here now that there is a vested intrested? As for Cookie...her eye's are in need of help. one eye turns just fine. her other eye... ie it will turn left and right but will not respond to turning up and down no matter what control I assign.
After I'm done with my current project, I'll attempt and post more indepth what the problem is and see if something can be updated, either with Powerpose or Cookie...haven't tried Chip since Cookie burned me out.

Very cute, love the grubby hands and feet texture; that's not something you see very often, very cool.

Anyone know if it's possible to fit or convert existing clothing items from G2 or G3 to Cookie. I know there's a crossdresser license that will let you convert V4 items. But going the other direction doesn't seem very likely.
Thought I'd do something different, so here's a pic using the very slow lx click the mouse a lot rendering engine. Normally I'd change up the looks a lot more, but since it's to celebrate Cookie's release I decided to try and keep it close to the base render.
There is a nice "tutorial" on EvilInnocence's website that explains how it's possible. I've used it with mixed results, but that also probably user error on my part since I don't work with the program that often.
Thanks for trying to help me!
I really like that outfit but not without the hair. The other hair looks nice too, but the braid looks more like it's just twisted than a real braid to me. I am thinking of buying Star instead, she has a kind of Tomb Raider style outfit also, and a braid
Very nice effect! Looks like it's worth the multiple renders.

I would've bought both Cookie and Chip, but I had to settle for Cookie (lots of sales = lots of wantz).
With Cookie Dough, can you still make Cookie unique with lots of morphs, or do you have to stick with the CR2 presets?
@lx I really like that Cookie render! She looks great!
